I've had that happen - several times, in fact :-(. I think that's a good idea. What's usually worked for me is either taking a short break from romances (::gasp:: I know), or going back and rereading for the billionth time my absolutely favorites that never disappoint and practically provide no excitement because I remember everything, but are oddly still unbelievably fabulous and enjoyable!
Well, I'm not really in my rut now. Just got the mood for spicy romantic suspenses. Just starting The Blonde Bomb Tech by Lara Santiago
Ok, so I was doing a reading marathon this weekend that's why I went a little crazy. I finished

. I couldn't finish
, I just couldn't get into it. I'm now reading

So Carolyn, u got the paranormal/fantasy bug? Seems to be a popular genre these days :)I just started
. It has a bit of paranormal thing going but no vampires or shapeshifters.
I'm on a roll with it. These were all library books that were close to being due so I needed to finish them. I usually have to flip with the genres and I've been waiting until I say "Enough!" and read something else. But not yet, although I thought that might have been the reason I couldn't finish Killing Moon.
I was into murder mysteries forever (years and years) and then it was contemporary fiction. Now it's between Sci-Fi, historical romance, paranormal romance and urban fiction (although I get the last two mixed up all the time).
Finished
last night and am reading
. I know I'm doing bass ackwards. This series definitely does not have HEA, so I don't know why I'm listing them here. Please forgive me.
lol, ur forgiven, Carolyn. I haven't read her fever series and have been avoiding them, though I did love her highlanders.
I'm currently reading my way through the Princes trilogy by Elizabeth Hoyt. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but these books are not it. I'm really enjoying them!
I've heard wonderful things about that series, Pamela! I have 1 on my eReader and a couple I found at used bookstores.
Carolyn, is Immortal Danger part of her... oh, no! I can't think of the first book in the series... Deadly Fear?

It's great too!
Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "reading Die For Me by Karen Rose. I've never read her and keep seeing her recommended so...."I always see you reading RS, Pamela. I'm surprised to see this is your first Karen Rose. I read my first of her books Don't Tell a few months ago, and thought it was fabulous. Hope you enjoy it.:-)
