Just finished Stolen Fury by Elisabeth Naughton. It was good but I'm not in love with the criminal hero/heroine theme. Still I'll probably continue the series.Getting ready to start on Ten Things I Love About You by Julia Quinn

Well, I finished Pregnant by the Warrior, At the Bride Hunt Ball, To Wed a Wicked Earl and Wild Fire as part of a June reading challenge. All of those books have weddings in them. Now I'm going to start the Texas Trilogy's, Texas Destiny. I hear they are excellent, Pamela. Is it true they aren't really steamy?
That's what I hear. I'm looking forward to reading it. I've developed a hankerin' for cowboys lately!
Dhestiny, I absolutely loved the Texas Trilogy. I agree with Pamela that you don't really miss the steam, because the sexual tension is exquisite IMO.I'm currently reading Lover Avenged by J.R. Ward and loving every minute of it.
Thank you for the input, Julie! I decided to start with Kleypas' Hathaways, because I'm forgot I'm using the TT for the All Things Summer challenge on LK.
I just read Victoria Dahl's books Talk Me Down, Start Me Up and Lead Me On. I loved the 1st two books. Start Me Up was my ultimate favorite. Lead me On was ok for me. To tell you the truth I only keep reading cause I couldn't get enough of Chase. Loved him, he saved the book for me. Love Molly and Ben in Talk Me Down. They remind me so much of my husband and me. We are complete opposites. I think I'll pick up some of her other books.
I just finished Burning Lamp by Amanda Quick and also Demon's Kiss by Maggie Shayne. I'm almost done with The Secret's of the Heart by Kasey Michaels and I'm starting Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs

Oh, good!!! I have 3 favorite HR authors - Julie Garwood, Lisa Kleypas and Julia Quinn.... although, I'm really enjoying Olivia Parker's books, too.
I do love Julie Garwood, but my favorite is Amanda Quick, I also like christine Dodd and Mary Jo Putney. I do not think I have read any of Lisa Kleypas, I will have to give her a try.
Oh, please do try Lisa Kleypas. She has several stand alones and several series as well, but her series are pretty short... no more than 5 books. I'm reading the Hathaways series right now, but I loved her Wallflowers as well.
I haven't tried AQ yet, but I read Castles in the Air and thought it was just so-so. What do you recommend by MJP? And how is the steam factor?
before you give up on Christina Dodd you need to read Candle in the windowCandle in the Window. If you like a little magic in your romance try MJP The Marriage Spell, A Kiss of Fate, and A Distant Magic also by MJP Thunder and Roses (no magic but a wonderful book.

Thank you, Ann. I added Thunder and Roses to my TBR list. These are the Dodd books I have: Move Heaven and Earth, Candle in the Window, Castles in the Air.
But I've only read Castles. I'll give the others a try, too.
Ann, That's a hard question because I love so many. But here goes my faves...Devil in Winter
It Happened One Autumn
Mine Till Midnight
Seduce Me at Sunrise
Dreaming of You
Worth Any Price
Someone to Watch Over Me
Lady Sophia's Lover
Tempt Me at Twilight
Where Dreams Begin
Married By Morning
Ann, I really, really liked Again The Magic which is the prequel to the Wallflowers series. If you're going to read the Hathaways, I'd suggest reading Wallflowers first because the people from Wallflowers are also seen in Hathaways, though you don't HAVE to read them first. Most all of her books are worth reading, honestly, but because she does revist characters through out her series, I'd try and read whichever series in order.
I'm reading Obsessed by Susan AndersenJust went by the library and decided to check out some Carly Phillips books they had...
Hot Item
Cross My Heart
Lucky Break
I finished On The Way To The Wedding
and I liked it; it was a fun read made me smile, sigh and a few tears. Now I'm reading Up In Smoke
and Silver Borne
reading Blown Away by sharon salaA new series called Storm Front that focuses around a small Louisiana town during and after a tornado hits. The 2nd one comes out end of July and 3rd end of August.
Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "I'm reading Something About You by Julie James and loving it!"I added this one to my TBR pile, Pamela. It looks like everyone loves it!

This sounds like an interesting series. No PNR?

No, its romantic suspense. No paranormal at all.
Y'all might want to check out the clearance sale over at bn.com. Lots of books for $1.99. I just bought 3 unabridged audiobooks for $5.99 each. There were almost 200 romance books in the clearance sale. Good hunting =)

I'm weak.;-) I heard about the sale yesterday, and ended up spending way too much time putting together an order. I ended up getting 11 books (all but one from my TBR list) for about $28, but of course, that was after spending $17 at the library sale too. I think I need to cut back again, but keep finding great deals that are too tempting.
I just thought of it as stocking up for hurricane season. Who knows, we may have another "hurrication" this year and I want to be prepared!
got 10 silhouette/harlequins for $1 at a library sale so I'm zipping through them. Most of them are SIMs.
I have a huge stock of old Harlequin Presents. Every so often I grab a handful and whip through a few. They are always a quick easy read.
I finished Secrets Of A Summer Night last night and it was wonderful, now I understand why everyone is in love with Lisa Kleypas!! I started Devil In Winter
last night also reading If He's Sinful
finished Paradise Valley. I was a little disappointed in the romance department. I didn't feel Dan had much page time. Going to start As Luck Would Have It by Alissa Johnson
