It has one of the most beautiful endings I've ever read.
Z is my absolute favorite hero ever.

Run Among Thorns and Dangerous Lies
I really liked them. The author is British I believe and some of the phrasing seemed odd to this American but I understood what she was saying. The books are romantic suspense and are related by characters (brother and sister). But the stories are stand-alones.

I don't have the 3rd in the series yet.

All three of these are on my wishlist! There is a volume with all three that I hope to get from PBS.

How did you like it Pamela? This trilogy is one of my favs.
I started The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider's Guide by J. R. Ward over the weekend. I read "Father Mine" which was absolutely wonderful, and now I think I may read something else. I have a very crowded reading list for May, and it will make the rest of the book last longer.;-)

Well, I liked it enough to grab the next one in the series :)
But really, I did like it. Not totally wow'd because of the h/h not fighting for what they wanted. They were willing to give in to what they believed was the "right" thing to do, even though it was the wrong thing to do. Plus the way these men keep it all inside and they never knew the issues the other had all those many years. I like that Dallas is a little more "alpha" and take charge so this one is going great so far.

For the author to tell Houston's story I can really see how it was necessary to have it play out that way. I guess I just felt it didn't need to play that long. I'm only about a 1/4 through Dallas' story. He's not perfect either but I just love the alphas.

Pamela, I checked SD out from the library and returned it mostly unread. Then I got the audio versions of all three books and loved them. BED was the best of the series imo, but followed closely by STS. As for SD, the background was good for BED, but I found it by far the weakest of the series for romance content.

Yes, I agree. I put off trying them because of the 1st person POV but found that didn't bug me as much as I thought it would. SD seemed way too much like chick-lit to me and not really a romance at all. I didn't like how it started when she was still a child and went through so many years. I think I'd read where the other 2 got better and broke down and gave them a chance and I'm really glad I did. They still don't make my faves list but they were worth reading after all.

Pretty good so far. Not really a sports fan but it's really all about the romance :)

I'm reading the science fantasy romance White Tiger by Vijaya Schartz. Even though it came out last Aug., the author sent me an ARC, so I could get up to speed for reading her new one in the series that was just released last week. The romance is a little low-key, but the fantasy part is good so far.
