I am liking it so far. It isn't a fast read as it is the first book and there is some world building and lots of characters but it is 4 star for sure. There are lots of cool secondaries that I really want to have their own romance and that is always groovy.

namericanwordcat | 591 comments Finished! 4 stars!

Oh I've read both and I really liked them. I liked Bring Up the Bodies a little more than Wolf Hall. But both were wonderful books. ^_^

Leslie (chibilee02) Melissa - I'm over halfway done w/it and so far I've enjoyed it. It's an interesting take on an alternate history. And I am so swooning over Dominic! Lol That doesn't hurt much.

Right now reading

Beauty from Surrender (Beauty, #2) by Georgia Cates and re-reading The Siren (The Original Sinners, #1) by Tiffany Reisz for my BOTM read for another group.

message 1520: by Kristi (new)

Kristi (kristi_z) | 6 comments Just finished Neanderthal Seeks Human A Smart Romance (Knitting in the City, #1) by Penny Reid -- it was a very enjoyable nerd romance. I know several uber-intelligent people, so following Janie's thinking was fun and I could see my friends in her. Overall, it was an easy read and I especially appreciated that it was told from her POV and the epilogue was not.

message 1521: by Jess (new)

Jess Michaels (jessmichaelsbks) I'm about 75% finished with Their Virgin Hostage, which I'm enjoying! It's on my agenda to finish it today. Then I'm going to start Lulu in Hollywood because I got really interested in Louise Brooks when I read The Chaperone.

message 1544: by Marilyn (new)

Marilyn (mbk1857) I'm reading Lady Of Quality by Georgette Heyer by Georgette Heyer and enjoying it very much. I bought a bunch of her books when they were on sale a couple of years ago and squirreled most of them away for when I would reach that inevitable meh period we all go through. When all else fails, fallback on Heyer.

message 1545: by namericanwordcat (new)

message 1546: by Leslie (new)

Leslie (chibilee02) @Jenny - after finishing The Boy on the Bridge I had a hard time rating it since it wasn't horrible but I didn't whole-heartedly liked it. Here's my review of it if you want to take a look: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
