Apparently TSG is being re-released in Jan 2011.

I bought a used copy of T & A in a local used book store. It was a hardback. I think the new ones are just reprints, but maybe it is the first time in paperback here in the States. TSG is definitely hard to find.

Aww, thanks Shell. Looks like I need to order a used copy. I can't wait that long.

OMG I can't wait that long. :-(

I was having that same problem... i would buy them used or if you can wait do it... I'm dying right now because i finished TBH a week ago and am still waiting for the 2 books to come in the mail - AHHHHH So i started Sara Donati, Into the wilderness. It's a great read. And for those outlander fans (like Me:) Claire, Ian and Jamie are talked about :)
I read Into the wilderness before Outlander and loved it. I did know that they made appearances, but since I didn't know them while reading Donati's book, it was lost on me. I however, did not finish Dawn on a Distant Shore. It moved way too slow for me.

Nathaniel talks about a "white witch" named Claire Frasier that helped his save a young boy. Page 250 they even talk about works-with-her-hands, Ians wife. I was so happy to see those names again :)
Cool, thanks so much for sharing that Leea! :) I read a posting on an interview, I believe, of Donati, she stated that she asked Gabaldon if they could appear because a scene needed Jamie and Claire.

So here's a bit of news for you die-hard fans: the UK / Australian version of the middle book of the series is called 'The Bridge to Holy Cross' and it's different from T&A. It contains some of the original story from TBH but from Alexander's point of view. So more Lazarevo! You can get it through Amazon.

Aj thanks for the info. At Borders books you can pre-order T&A and TSG. I am going to have to start looking for TBTHC. More Lazarevo! In Shuras POV!!!???? I want that book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, fyi: I just picked up TSG thru Amazon, very good quality paperback, doesn't look read, back cover only slightly bent, no more than it will be after I read the book, and very reasonably priced.
