So, right now, it is taking a vacation. Lol.
I'm writing three stories at once! YAY! *headwall* *headdesk* *headjason* (ok you only understand the *headjason* thing if you're Sella, otherwise just don't ask)
The first one is Jump, my sequel to Edge. I got the idea from … Well, from Edge. Haha.
I'm also writing Unraveling, which is my first realistic fiction book. It's essentially one girl's stream of consciousness as she explores her hometown and thinks about the friendship she used to have with this other girl. I got the idea when I was standing outside waiting for my dad to pick me up from dance class. And I was thinking about how Catcher in the Rye was such an awesome book and I wanted to write something kind of like that … and then coincidentally I went home and found out that J.D. Salinger had just died that day. *Twilight zone* So I was like "Whoa, I have to write this" and then the idea developed completely when I was at work two days later.
Lastly, I'm writing Rage, which is this sort of myth and fairy tale inspired story. It's about this little isolated village surrounded by evil magic forests, and then there's a creepy tower where everyone says a Monster lives, and the Monster has control of all the weather and crops and everything. And so they have to make a sacrifice to him every once in a while; the sacrifice is a teenage girl who has to journey to the creepy tower by herself, and no one knows what happens to the sacrifices … I got the idea when I was watching this part of Fantasia that showed this creepy devil thing controlling the universe. And then I was thinking about it later that day at work and came up with the idea.
Now, if you're curious:

Rage: http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/6...

The year is 2084. Demons roam the earth, taking over human lives, destroying them, and using them. Few of the humans left alive are willing to fight back against the creatures that now reign. But there is one group that does. They’re called the rebels.
Sarai Jefferson grew up most of her life without a mother, but with a loving father. As the world grew worse day-by-day he tried to keep the bad hidden from her. But soon enough he realized that he would no longer be around and she would need to know how to protect herself. With this in mind, he taught her all about the creatures that thrive in the dark and how to protect herself from them.
Then the world truly became unrecognizable and Sarai was left to stand alone. However, she found soon enough that she had four friends willing to aid her in her cause: to destroy the demons and take back what was left of the earth.

HEADJASON HAHAHAH YOU NAUGHTY BRIGID.
Hehe I love all the stories you're writing. UNRAVELING IS MY FAVORITE STORY OF YOURS IN THE WORLD teehehehe. :D

Anyways.
So, one of the books I'm writing is called Life in D Minor. I've been working on this for a while (it just reached page 100, yay!!) It's about a guy and a girl who have screwed up lives, but they find escape in this one guitar that they both fall in love with, and they end up becoming really good friends and eventually fall in love. :) Linkage: http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/4...
The second book I'm writing is called Shards, and it's this paper trial about this girl that goes down memory lane about all these memories she has of her best friend Dustin, because he's changed now and different and cold and something horrible happened to make him like that ... Linkage: http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/5...
The third book I'm writing is called Crescendo, and it's a modern adaptation of the Greek myth of Daphne and Apollo. Basically, Daphne is a girl who believes in Greek gods and goddesses, and she loves Artemis and hates boys and vows to be a maiden forever, too. Then the god Apollo starts chasing her and stuff and stuff happens. Yaaay. XD Linkage: http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/6...
Read them peoples!! :D

I'm currently writing a book called "Dead Sun" which is about a girl who is basically abducted my monsters (I NEED HELP! I DON'T NOW WHAT TYPE OF MONTER IT SHOULD BE! VAMPIRES FIRST CAME TO MY ATTENTION BUT EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE USING VAMPIRES IN THEIR STORIES!)
I'm also writing a book called "Peace, Love, & MADDNESS!" which is just about a girl and her life. (not very far)
I started writing a Harry Potter #8 book but I started writing it before the 7th book came out. So when I read the 7th book, none of my 8th book made sense! Oh, well. It wasn't like I was going to publish it; no one would like it being another Harry Potter book. :)

If you want to check out Dead Sun (I'm not very far, but the plot's getting there) here's the link:

REALLY!? I love editing! That's my favorite part of writing (except of course writing it!)
I am currently writing a few books. I'm writing one right now that I am mostly focusing on...
I've got a thousand ideas right now, but I've contented myself with writing three of them at the moment... some of which will be writen more often than the others:
Wayward Dreams: Seventeen-year-old Ashli Rylan wasn't ever anything special. Her entire life she was almost an outcast. She was normal. She had average grades. But she was a rebel-- Ashli hardly listened to anyone. Not her parents. Not her teachers. If there was ever trouble, Ashli was more likely than not in the middle of it. The one person, who could ever knock some sense into her, was Ashli's best friend Kye Athan. They were closer than anyone could expect-- they had gone through trials together that no one knew about, they had helped each other in ways no one could even begin to imagine. But then, something happens that ruins it all. It brings Ashli's life tumbling down around her, while she is powerless to stop it. Kye dies. Ashli's sanity is thrown into parial. Her grades drop. She begins to shun all of her other friends, and she falls into a depression. Her mother and father try to reach her, but she merely rebels against their attempts. No one can save her from this, and her future begins to fall away. All of her dreams begin to disappear, and she's lost in a abyss of sorrow.
No one can save her.
At least, until Skylar Kane shows up at the school as the new kid. People quickly find that he is just as antisocial as Ashli herself, and they begin to make him the outcast just as they had made her one. He's quiet, contained, and Ashli is perhaps the only one who can see beneath the mask he wears and see the delicate emotions beneath. Is he perhaps as scared and lonely as she herself it? Ashli reaches out to him, shocking everyone that she knows by a sudden kindness towards a broken boy. A friendship begins to grow, one that might be able to save the both of them.
The Seventh Dimension: There are Seven Dimensions in the universe; each is a shadow, a reflection of earth, showing different choices and decisions, different realities in the form of dreams. The Dreamers more often known as the Somnium are people on earth who can travel between the folds and rifts in reality to go into one of these other Dimensions, they can change the present within the blink of the eye, and they can alter the future. The only downside is if they meet there counter in one of these other dimensions, they die, and are lost for eternity drifting in a form of nothingness, alone, having lost their bodies they can’t return to the Seventh Dimension, the reality.
A girl-- untrained shows up with the power of the Somnium, born from a mortal and abandoned, brandishing blue fire, baring a mark like no others. She's the newest of the Somnium, first born in the form of a mortal as they all where. Jeremiah dreams about her repeatedly, he's the one whose supposed to find her, and when he does, will she listen?
Its a world of life and death. Of colored fire and immorality. With bends and twists in reality, folds and ripples in dreams. Dimensions, all mirroring a single counter, different versions of earth, different emotions represented in each, different realities coming in the form of dreams. A life of war and killing, eternal sacrifice and lies, filled with hidden truth and danger, with forgotten pasts and love ripped in two. A story of blue fire.
Painless: Sorae is a Fifth Generation Painless. She lives alone, rotting with her curse. Sensation is nothing to her, like it is to the few First and Second Generation's she's met... Even the Third and Forth. She knows that for the most part she's alone in the world. Humans fear her, and all the other unfeeling beings are not exposed to such a magnitude of torture as herself. Sorae knows that Fifth Generations are rare... More prone to accidentally killing themselves due to the lack of pain they ever feel. In truth it's simple, and her entire life she's feared that the same fate will happen to her . . . In the stretch of abandoned city she lives in, the humans know and hate her. She's an outcast even amongst them... And then Keller shows up. He's just like her-- A Level Five Painless. At first Sorae is completely overjoyed by the fact she found someone that might understand her pains... but when he proves antisocial and cruel, along with irritating and completely spiteful, Sorae begins to resent him. Until Keller starts to open up more and she reaches beyond the hard exterior he puts up. She realizes that he knows something. Something about the reason the war started in the first place, something she has to uncover before time runs out... before everything is gone.

Allegra is an independent, headstrong girl who knows how to stand up for herself. But maybe this was all a result of her hectic home life. Her prents, flighty and abusive, were never the best of role models.
Cara was allways the quiet type. She want along with what others said and didn't complain. After all, at home, there was usualy no one around to listen to her.
Together these best friends were the perfect team. They took care of each other and became like sisters. They told each other everything. From Allegra confessing her her fears of her home to Cara tallking about how her parents weren't around much. Nothing was a secret.
So when Cara becomes distant, Allegra does everything to get her friend to open up to her. But Cara has a secret of her own... and she'll do anything to keep it under wraps...
Yep...

Shilah is a Shape-shifter.
And the very last one of her kind.
Growing up she’s always known that her abilities were more valuable than her life to some. Including the vicious King. So it’s no surprise that when word reaches the kingdom of an unregistered and secret Shape-shifter, the King will break down even Hell’s walls to reach her.
And the Charis won’t give her up without a fight.
So when the war brews between the two species everything hidden will be revealed, everything found will be lost and hate and love will collide.
And Shilah will find the balance between life and death...

My new story. It's called Shilah (shi-la) for now until I can think of a better name. The description is dodgy for now, but I'll update that soon, too.

I got the story idea from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which I always listen to even though it's not Christmas time, and One Tin Soldier.
