I did just receive my first edition hc of this book which I'm very happy with and plan to read it soon but probably not for a few weeks.





I'll jump into the discussion if I have something to add. This is a quality author, and one of my top drawer favorites.





The best books grow with life experience. Kay's work does this incredibly well. I have yet to go back to something he did and find the magic was not there - the richness takes on new meaning each time.
It may be that some of the subtleties grow the more, with maturity. I'd suggest if you tried these books very young - try them again later on. They could have escaped me, perhaps, as a younger reader.
