How's everyone? Doing fine. Got tendonitis in my shoulder. Boy did that hurt. Doc prescribed some good stuff though and feels much much better. Been hot here. My car died. Got to stay home and read! Daughter not happy though. She can't go anywhere either.

lol trying to find good in the situation. No car means I get to stay home and read. Of course it also means no errands run and pleading with relatives when I have to go somewhere. But my mom and mom-in-law both live on the same road and both insists its no problem to play taxi for me so I'm blessed.
No, not anymore. Transmission went out and too expensive and not worth it to fix so hubby put it on craigslist and sold it already. The motor was great and the guy needed the motor and came and got it and towed it off. He drove 4 hours to come and get it. We will just have to wait and put money aside to save for another.
That's great when they tow it away! And that it went to a good home, LOL! Hope you win the lottery. :)
Decided to reorganised my bookshelf here and separate my historical romances into smaller groups. I had them all lumped into historical romances. Now they are separated by period. Medieval, regency/victorian, am west, etc... It was quite a job. Since I don't have most of the books I had to go research them to find out where they belong. I was thinking to do my contemporary romances into separate shelves too. May have to rethink on that. hmmmmm
Started making new CR shelves. Gonna be a long time before I get them all organized. And its more than just 3 or 4 :) Also going to do a few RS shelves like serial killers, on the run, things like that.
Anyone who is a Jill Shalvis fan, Bekah has started a group for her fans...http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/5...
Due to lack of interest I'll probably delete this group in a few days. I'll see ya on other groups. Bye.
Ahh... Pamela! That's too bad. Love HEA books. I have a thing about calling certain books "historical romances" - like Gone With the Wind. I don't even put that tag on it. I call it "fiction" and "history 101" and "epic" and "classic". I am glad you joined RLFTCI and I'll see you there. :)
tks. unfortunately only 3 or 4 ppl ever participate in the threads here. I don't know how to stir ppls interest. If I could find a moderator who ppl would respond to then maybe I could leave it alone. And I agree about GWTW. Not a romance IMO.
I would volunteer to be a co-moderator, but with what is going on in my personal life, I can't make that commitment right now. I would hate to let people down.
BTW, what is involved in shutting this group down? Do you have to delete it? I see other groups just sit there unattended to. Or are you going to make it dissappear?
There is a delete button. I keep hesitating on doing it because I'm an optimist and keep thinking someone will come along and revive this group.
I just listed a book for giveaway! I couldn't remember where we did that, so I added it to the General Folder.
Things are super quiet on Goodreads for about the last month or so! Groups that are normally hoppin' are almost dead.
I was outside helping hubby mow last evening and now I'm sneezing like crazy. That ought to wake up a few ppl. hehe lol
It's been horrible. I live in the desert and we've been having horrible heat lately, plus my mom had a stroke and we're going back and forth between the convalescent hospital and home, running errands for her and stuff. All I want to do is stay inside where it's SORT of cool.
I understand. My A/C is having a hard time keeping the house cool. Its about 78 to 80 degrees inside.
Not sure if this will help or not, but it's the middle of winter here! I'm reading about all this hot weather on the posts and am extremely jealous! Pamela, I for one, hope you don't end up deleting this group. I just joined! :-)
I think it was menopause blues that had me going there. I'm ok now.Its finally cooled off. Still warm but not blistering.
