Had a problem trying to visit the Goodreads site today with a message saying that it is not secure; something is wrong with the site certificate. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi everyone. Grey and damp here today. Busy shopping and reading today. Hooray.
Its freezing here apparently I haven't been outside yet.
It's cold here today! In the 30s - I had to wear my sweatshirt!
31 F here. But its going to get colder later in the week per the weather.
-1 F now, not including wind chill. Tomorrow is supposed to be about 12 degrees for the high!
Ok it is pretty freezing and windy, bad idea to wear a casual dress. The wind is a total pervert lol.
it's -33°C here today with the wind chill. Even my husky doesn't want to go outside. Apparently that's -27.4F according to Google.

I've been in doors all day. Its pretty sunny out but I trust its cold out.
I thought it was quite warm, Lizzie, when I had a walk this morning. It's sunny here as well. Can't imagine what Jonel's -27.4F is like.
It's been chilly here the last few days as well. Currently -2F at 10 am with a windchill of -23. A lot of area schools have been closed or are on 2-hour delay today and yesterday, primarily rural areas. Starting to snow here now, about 1-3 inches expected.
49 degree F here. 44 degree F in Grass Valley... where I'm thinking of moving.
Up to 18 F now. Time to go to the pool! Where the water is a nice toasty 93 F ☺ Might not be able to get me out!

Good for you, Pamela. All I did was sit 3 1/2 hours in the dentist's chair. How many calories does gripping the arm rests burn up?

Three and a half hours seems an awful long time! What was the dentist doing to you? Think I'll take the pool this time round!Difficult about calories at this time of year. Have been left with lots of uneaten chocolates from Xmas and lack the will power to throw them out. Nearly ate a chocolate teddy bear, but luckily a friend phoned and it had evidently been meant for her daughter and abandoned at my house.
People mean well but someone gave me a box of chocolates for Christmas and I confess I ate most of it. :(
Well, I'm afraid I've eaten more than a box! Also, I'm a mild diabetic, so really shouldn't.

I regulate mine just by diet, so am very fortunate. However, willpower seems to be somewhat lacking at the moment!

I went to a dental school once and it took three hours. But it was also really cheap.The student was impressed that I had all my teeth - including my wisdom teeth.
This cold has also been hard on my weight...but very good for whittling down the TBRs on my IPAD. ;)

My old crowns were gold, if you can believe that. That's how long ago they were done. They don't use gold anymore; the cost is too prohibitive.
I must be old-fashioned, but I've got 5 gold crowns in my teeth, all back molars where they're not so noticeable, and I got them within the past 4 years. Crowns in general are so expensive, but I was able to get them done as part of my benefits while I was still working at a university. I went for gold because they're more durable and I don't intend getting these suckers done again anytime soon!

Yes, they gave me the gold back. Now I just need to find a place where I can cash them in.
Have one false tooth on a titanium implant. Don't know if this is what is called a crown, however, I have had it for 38 years, so have been very pleased with it.
