I have a question about the HEA group: is it all about the romance genre? Because there are HEAs in every genre, aren't there?

Frost on the roofs here this morning. Haven't had a proper walk since visitors arrived, but have done a lot of cooking!
I'm feeling better though my throat still feels a bit weird. I coughed up this huge bloody mucusey mess just an hour ago (sorry for tmi) and its cleared my throat up a bit. I just hope my boyfriend will be ok by tomorrow.
Think I've caught your illness, Lizzie. Have just seen off son in taxi to airport, not well enough to go with him to see him off properly, so feeling both sad and guilty (:
Hello everyone...I just wanted to wish Carol a Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Lizzie, how dare you share your illness with Carol... That's not a nice b'day gift (☺ LOL)
Everything here is good... Getting ready for a party tonight, and welcome 2015!!!
I started the day off right - sleeping 'til 10:45 and then walking the dog. Happy new year, y'all!!!
Happy new year everyone! To the mods I just wanna say out of all my groups here on GR this one is my favorite! Keep up the good work:)
Hi everyone. Well, we've passed the 'hurdles' of Xmas and New Year, and although I really enjoyed them, it seems very pleasant to be back in a quieter, calmer mode. It's a bit like going away, it's lovely to do so, but it's always lovely to be back home.We have a coal fire (very old-fashioned!) in the sitting room, and the day before New Year's Eve, we were eating dinner in the dining room, and by a fluke, in the middle of the meal, my son went into the sitting room and found the fire surround, part of the mantel piece, part of the carpet and a rug, in flames. We put it out ourselves with water and feel very blessed that it did not have a chance to spread further.
Just had a walk on the Downs, now sitting here at my computer, looking out at the street and at a very blue sky. Fish and chips downstairs in the oven.
OMG, Carol! I'm glad it was discovered quickly and everyone is okay!Lizzie, I have had my years of not feeling festive too.
The weather here has been overcast and rather dreary. No snow or anything but the sun hasn't come out in about 2 weeks now. Makes it hard to be perky.

Does anyone know how to control the size of the picture that you're posting? The picture that I posted here on January 1st, for example, looked enormous in the feed.
Cathy wrote: "Does anyone know how to control the size of the picture that you're posting? The picture that I posted here on January 1st, for example, looked enormous in the feed."Cathy, try our GRs How To folder: Add an Image or Picture (the size you want).
Note the message in Post #9.
Also, the latest GRs glitch is that it sometimes ignores the size parameters unless you look at it in preview first. Or, if you've posted it, go in to "edit" the comment, but don't do anything; then it will take your parameters. Weird, I know.

Thanks for the info, Winter. I'll try fiddling with this in future to make it work.
Carol, glad to hear you didn't have a fire in your living room. You're in Australia, aren't you? Just heard on the news tonight that there are several huge fires being battled there due to dry, warm weather conditions and winds. Stay safe.
