I saw a man in my local shop with a black kilt on this morning. Never seen that before. In fact, kilts are not generally seen here as we are nowhere near Scotland. Perhaps he was in mourning for the referendum. I did not like to ask.

Maybe, but black kilts seem to be very in fashion now with the younger generation for a couple years now.
I'm so sorry, Lizzie! I hope its not anything serious. And I hope good things come your way quickly.
Have any of you seen New Updates Feed Feature! ?? I haven't seen any recs on my update feed yet. Have you?
I always wonder what algorithms go into those kind of recommendations, and if publishers can grease some palms to get their books on the list... but maybe I'm just suspicious.
I wonder, too, Abigail. It took awhile for the screen to change for me, Lizzie. (Such as tabs moved to the left.) I haven't received any recs, yet.
Hi everyone. Spending a week in Belgium, seeing grandchildren. Weather a bit grey and miserable. There was a lot of fighting round here in both WW1 and WW2. There is a very large American military cemetary nearby. The countryside is hilly and forested.
Chilly morning here today! First day of really fall weather. Everyone just wants to curl up under a fuzzy blanket and read today, hmmmm..... that actually isn't a bad idea!
Sad that I missed the Fall when I was in Connecticut. I was expecting to see it. Will obviously have to visit again. There are a lot of trees here where I am in Belgium, but Autumn is more like that of England. The trees are just starting to turn colour. Going home tomorrow so will miss seeing it.
Hi everyone! Hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start. Looks to be the heatwave is continuing here. But that's fine. I rather deal with this than the cold.
When I live with my boyfriend it would be a rare occasion :p. I don't mind though. I have the cat and the dog to keep me company :p
Well, I wish it was 87 degrees here, Lisa. Arrived back from Belgium yesterday and it's grey and miserable today. It was lovely yesterday though on the train, particularly the last part of the journey where the line goes right by the South Devon coast at Dawlish, and then up the Teign estuary. The train line was washed away in the storms last winter, but has fortunately been reinstated.
