Ok, I'm here. I've actually been hating myself for being absent fro GR for months.....having a baby is no excuse for not hating.
That's right, Shana! If anything, you now have a lifetime supply of things to hate. (congratulations!!)
I've been studying, unsuccessfully. Working, also unsuccessfully.Yesterday I went to trial for a traffic violation. It was dismissed because I'd taken a safety class...I didn't even make it up to the bench before the judge approved the dismissal and excused me. I was expecting to sweat a little, maybe be lectured or even yelled at. But it was really anti-climactic. I'm grateful, but also baffled. Why couldn't we do this over the phone, or email? Justice system, you're old and inefficient. I hate you.
I also hate that I can't really muster up the good kind of hating. My hate is boring. I really prefer to comment on other people's hate. I hate that there's been nothing for me to comment on.
Sigh. That makes two (at least) of us. I got bored even typing that stuff above.
I've been busy being in love and stuff.

Right. I was sitting on a bus next to this lovely lady today. Blond hair, long legs, cute mocca trech coat, only too heavy on the makup and she did have those fake acrylic nails. Then she gets a call. And her voice, damn. I'll bet you she was a dude, because she was putting in so much effort to hit the high registers when you could easily tell by default her voice would be more of a baritone.
So spurfect/farmboy?
I work with a "farmboy". She has this super deep voice but on her voicemail she puts on this fakey high voice. Which just sounds like a man trying to sound like a woman. I've worked with her for 11 years but that voicemail still makes me smile every time I hear it.

Yeah, there's something to hate: your own recorded voice. Makes me cringe whenever I watch vids with myself in them. And voicemail. Oh my god voicemail. Who invented that crap?!
For real. I hate my voice on my voicemail greeting too. I have one friend who says I sound pretty and another who says I sound like a phone sex girl. I don't want to change it in case I actually sound pretty, but I should change it in case I sound like a phone sex girl. So I never change it. I had the same answering machine for 10 years and I never changed the greeting. I hate myself in pictures too, as long as were discussing it. I like myself in video, though.
Phone sex girl is half way there.... I just sound straight up infantile and I don't see a way of fixing it, so I'm just gonna hate on it. I'm good at that. If I could cut out voice from all the videos I guess I could live with them, although they do make me self-conscious, but it's fun to watch years after, seeing what a dipshit you were.
Same with pictures, if they are old enough then I'm cool with them. New ones - keep that shit away from me, I don't wanna see it.
