What did you do, Pamela? Put out a sign saying "Free Pizza With Admit?"
So neat, so many new people!"
Uh, if you do follow thru on the pizza idea can I have one with everything on it! :)

Can't wait to get to know you all.

I saw when I joined that there's a group challenge, which sound interesting. I'll definitely have to check it out, to see how it works and all that. I just accepted a new job (after two depressing years of underemployment), so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to read anything other than dry professional texts. But whenever I get free time, I tend to gravitate towards romance stories. I read them, I write them...I love them! (I prefer to read historical and write contemporary. I am strangely contrary that way.)
Anywy, I tend to go on certain kicks, where I look for romance novels that have a certain theme, setting, etc. I'm hoping to find many more undiscovered treasures through this group, and perhaps to talk about some old favorites!
Enough of me blathering on. It's nice to meet you all and I look forward to becoming further involved in the group!

Hi Alyson, I'm new too, and a writer. I couldn't have said it any better! Here's to Happy Endings!

Jane Eyre (I'm excited to see as your group read) was one of my favorite and most influential books that sparked my love of romance! Glad to find a group who appreciates a happy ending as much as I do :)

On another note, is there a good thread on this board to ask for recommendations from other readers, for books with certain themes or settings? (Or even to ask if anyone recognizes a book with a particular plot. I HATE it when you remember a story that you want to re-read but you blank on the author/title!)

Here is the link that help explains things and a "How to...Add a Topic." I added a few, but give me time to add more hyperlinks to her topics.

Aw... Pamela, you make me (view spoiler) . . . You're pretty special yourself.["br"]>["br"]>
