Don't read many of those. Vickie Lewis Thompson has a series where the heroes are nerds but it's been a while since I read one of her books. They were pretty good.

I've read a couple of her books. Two I didn't finish. One I want to get back to one day and other one, I hated that the hero was a nerd, who put his nerdiness in a lock vault, but wants to pretend that he's a nerd to get the heroine to like him. I couldn't finish the book.

I have a few of her books but haven't read them yet. They're the only ones that I can think of, off the top of head. I tend to like this kind of theme in a movie, so I'm sure I'd enjoy reading it.

Don't laugh at me guys, my favorite nerd is Matthew Gubler, the guy who plays Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds. Somehow, over the last few years, I started watching more for his character, than Shemar Moore's character. There's just something about a genius :)

I LOVE Spencer!!! I love Criminal Minds. I got hooked on it during Christmas while visiting my mom. I don't know what night and time it comes on regularly, but I watch all the reruns in syndication.

Criminal Minds comes on every evening on A&E. I think on Sundays too.

The first time that I have glanced at it, Spencer was being held in a room by a bad guy. The bad guy was Lassie from Psych. The bad guy had him and the guy from Dharma and Greg in the room. Spencer wind up shooting the bad guy.

That's the only scene that I have seen from that episode. As, I have stated, I don't watch the show.

ION is a satellite channel. I have two ION channels and yes, Criminal Minds come on ION as well.

I could never laugh! I am so in love with Spencer. He's sexy. I love his silky, thick hair. I started watching that show for Shemar, but then I started digging Spencer. Don't get me started. Michelle, we'll have to share him!

There is an Amanda Quick book where the hero pretended to be the heroine's man-of-affairs/bodyguard, but he doesn't carry a pistol nor a sword, but with the help of his wits and his chemistry kit, was more than able to defend her.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the title of the book, but the storyline came to mind after reading the title of this thread.
