When you click on bookshelf, find the book by you want to suggest by typing in the book’s title, author’s name, or ISBN number in the search box. When you see the book you want to add, click on “add to group.” Next click on “choose shelves.” Here you have the option to select the shelves you want to put the book on. Change the selection READ to TO-READ, and also check the box labeled for your book's genre

You might want to write a comment as to why you are suggesting this book. If you have a website or extra information to add about the book, you can include this as well. Be sure you go to the lower left side of the open screen and click on “save group book.” You DO NOT need to choose a folder or group leader for your book.

You can add as many books as you like. When you open the group’s bookshelf to see what is listed, you can view the information posted about each book by clicking on “view” on the right–hand side of the screen.

I will randomly sort the titles in each groups to create polls at the end of the year. Then you will get a message that the group’s polls will be open. There will be a poll for each listed genre with a random selection of the nominated titles. Linda will post reminders about the meeting dates.

Once the polls close, I will post an announcement of the books we have chosen to read. Soon you will see discussion folders available to post any comments you have about the books as we read them.

Looking for some good books … there are so MANY to choose from!
