Tessa Hey Carolina!

Sierra Rose (sierrarose) | 15 comments Hello all. I just joined after I decided to search to see if Goodreads had a Nora Roberts group (was hoping it did).

I've been a huge fan of hers for years and with the exception of the ever elusive Promise Me Tomorrow (which I foolishly gave away without knowing) I have all of and read most of her books. She's one of the few authors I wait for new books from.

Hi Erin here... Nora Roberts tends to be Summer Reading for me, but I'm slowly becoming addicted. I'm currently rereading Three Sisters Tilogy right now, and I have Montana Sky going at the same time.

I look forward to talking about thse books with people why enjoy them!

message 119: by Stacy (new)

Stacy | 41 comments Welcome to the group Jasmine! It's always nice to find more people who love to escape from reality for a little while and dive into a Nora Roberts romance. Sometimes, i find reading her books to be theraputic, and the love scences are always lovely. After reading them, i want to rip my husbands clothes off too, haha!

message 120: by Ana (new)

Ana | 4 comments Hi! I'm Ana, from Portugal and I've just joined the group. I love Nora's books, it's the kind of book I read when I really need to feel better or to forget everything else. Some friends of mine offered me "Dancing upon the air" and since then I had to read more. Right now I'm reading "Finding the dream", to finish the trilogy.

message 121: by Stacy (new)

Stacy | 41 comments Welcome Ana! I hope you enjoy our Nora Roberts group, it's great to talk to people who love the same books that you do because let's face it, our husbands sure don't understand ( haha!) I just finished Vision in White, her fist book for the Bride Quartet series. It was really light and fun to read. Next up for me is the Born In trilogy. I was lucky enough to find the edition that had all three books into one. Enjoy your reading!

Hi La-Kesha! I'm just finishing the Born in trilogy. I know that Roberts came out with it some time ago butb i just never got a chance to read them. I also loved the In the Garden trilogy and The Circle trilogy because that was something so different than what she usually writes about. I'm anxious to read the Signs of Seven trilogy soon

Welcome to the group, Kelly!

p.s...I will try not to be so MIA. I get behind on my GR groups sometimes and it takes forever to catch up. Sometime in the near future I will try to get the booklists updated and add some discussion threads for the older non-series Silhouette stuff.

message 134: by Sherry (new)

Sherry (wstridgerunner) oooohhhh, some of her older non-series stuff; it's so good that it's starting to get re-issued into Large Print....of which I'm very happy to see. Not only can regular patrons read, (some of them for the first time), her older works but now the individuals, (which we have quite a bit of in our library), who require Large Print can read it as well. :)

message 142: by Jill (new)

Jill | 6 comments Hi, I just found this group this morning, I'm kind of new to GR. I have read quite a few NR titles and have a lot more waiting TBR in my house. I started with the Key trilogy (which I really enjoyed) moved to In the Garden and then The Circle Trilogy. Next was the Sign of 7. In between I read some single titles as well. Most recently I read Vision in White. One of the earlier posts asked when the next book in that quartet was coming out and I believe the back fo the book said in Dec of this year would be the next one. When Lifetime had their movies this year I read all the books prior to the movie and all of the books were So much better than the movies! It made me want to go back and reread the books that were made into movies in 2007 and I own them all just haven't gotten to them yet. Can't wait to look at the discussions!

Hi Sherry, thanks for the welcome.

I see you live in Maryland. That's one of the reasons I started reading Nora Roberts. I lived in Maryland near a Marina that went out to the Chesapeake Bay. My parents moved us to California when I was 16, and although I like it here (mostly because my family's here and the weather is great), I sure miss my old home. We used to live in Joppatowne, which is close to Bel Air and Edgewood. I love all of the Maryland based stories.
