I'm looking forward to
by Nancy Atherton. It's released Feb 18th. I'm first on the waiting list to read it at my local library.
I'm excited for 2 books that are being released this month... Unknown & Black Magic Sanction
Other books I'm excited to read are Desire Unchained & The Hero of Ages & of course our group reads for this month :)

I finished listening to Kitty Takes a Holiday and Kitty and the Silver Bullet. I continue reading Syren and Nightshade.
This is what I'm working on this month:Ravenous (currently reading)
Already Dead (currently reading)
First Drop of Crimson
and Black Magic Sanction will move to the top of the list when I get it!
Finished The Taking and Ecstasy. Both first time I've read a book in each series and I enjoyed them.
so far this month:1. Dancing on the Head of a Pin by Thomas Sniegoski
2. Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale
3. Love and Lies by Ellen Wittlinger
4. Mean Streets by Jim Butcher, Simon R. Green, Kat Richardson & Thomas Sniegoski
currently: East by Edith Pattou
A whole bunch of books that I've been on waiting lists for from the library came in... all at once! Now I have to wait to read some of the books I wanted to read this month (specifically Hero of Ages and a couple others) in order to get through all of them. I'm kinda disappointed but I don't want to go to the back of the line again! That's what I get for trying to plan out my reading I guess.
I just finished The Bone Doll's Twin but I don't plan to continue with the series.I am about to start The 13th. And then The Kult and Boneshaker. I am in an horror mood.

How did you like DANCING ON THE HEAD OF A PIN, Julia? I didn't think it was quite as good as A KISS BEFORE THE APOCALYPSE. I also loved his short story in MEAN STREETS. It's what prompted me to read AKBTA.
I finished Born to be Bad by Sherrilyn Kenyon. It really was BAD. I started Ravenous by Sharon Ashwood. I'm on about chapter 5 and it's pretty good so far.
Kitty and the Silver Bullet
Kitty and the Dead Man's Hand
Syren
Bone by Bone
Dark Time
Kitty Raises Hell
Fire
Melodie,I gave A Kiss Before the Apocalypse a 5, Dancing on the Head of Pin a 4 and the book Mean Streets a 4. (I didn't care for the Simon R. Green novella. The other three were great!) I liked DotHoaP just fine, but it wasn't a revelation, like AKBtA was. I would like it if the series ended with that book, but that is not to be. He's writing another Remy Chandler novel, according to his website.

I gave AKBTA 5 stars, too. I also gave MEAN STREETS 5 stars just for the Sniegoski & Butcher stories. I only gave DOTHOAP 3 stars. The next one,
, comes out in March. Am hoping I like it much better!
I just finished Camella Jackson Manifest Vampire by Michael Greer. It stated that it was a different kind of vampire book. Well, it is. This is just the first book that seem to be a long series. I would totaly recomment the book to everyone. You can only get it on kindle right now. The cost was 2.99 I think. I read it on my pc kindle.
I just finished An Enchanted Season and A Kiss of Fate: A Novel. Both of those were solid 3s. I'm reading Master of Ecstasy and Nina Bangs. This book is pretty funny - reminds me of Kresley Cole.
OK, here's what I read and am still hoping to get read this month. Kushiel's Mercy
Kitty's House of Horrors
Doomsday Can Wait
Strange Angels
Desire Untamed
Rising Moon
On the Edge
Mercy Thompson: Homecoming
Magic Strikes
Betrayals
Currently reading:
Must Love Hellhounds
Queene of Light
Vampire a Go-Go: A Novel
Something by LKH (because DM and Flirt are still too far down the wait list and i am trying to complete a challenge.
I'm not going to finish 4 of my predicted books. Work and quilting keeps getting in the way! I'll roll those over to March.
I think that's the case for me every month too Paula. Either I get sidetracked by other books or sidetracked by other projects/life and I'm not able to get to my "planned" books.
I also read books not on the list and sneek them onto the list which crowds the other unread books out. I hope to start with those in March. Though, I will always interupt my reading for my favorite series books!
