FlibBityFLooB Oooh. I was originally going to read that one for my PNR April challenge, Cherra. It's stitting by my bed at the moment. I'll have to try to make time to read it :)

message 52: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB I'm reading the Guild Hunter series right now by Nalini Singh. Trying to decide if some of the other supporting cast deserve a love triangle posting or not... Obviously, there's Raphael. But, how about Dmitri as an example?

Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, #2) by Nalini Singh

FlibBityFLooB I've just started reading the latest Sookie Stackhouse novel. The ole love triangle with Sookie / Eric / Bill (and maybe Sam / Alcide / etc.) is still there and ticking :)

Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse, #10) by Charlaine Harris

FlibBityFLooB Just finished reading book 3 in the Rachel Morgan series. There was a love triangle with vampire, witch, and human. However, I was more intrigued about another potential love triangle that I could see forming with the heroine's love/hate nemesis - Trent. I'm curious if that will develop more as I read the rest of the series. Anyone else read all the Rachel Morgan books?

Every Which Way But Dead (Rachel Morgan/The Hollows, #3) by Kim Harrison

message 55: by Aimee (new)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments YES! It's one of mt favorite series'. I saw that you were reading them and was excited to see what you thought of them. And you've just gotten to the thick of it! They seem to just get better as they go!

message 56: by Aimee (new)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments Jenks has to be one of the best characters ever written!

message 57: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) Aimee, I LOVE Jenks! Tinks Titties! hehe Have you read Black Magic Sanction yet?

Rachel has many loves in that series. Some don't stick around long enough to form a solid triangle side, but some certainly do. I don't want to say too much and possibly spout spoilers, I can't remember who she was with in what book. LOL

Flib, I recently read Barely Bewitched, book 2 of Kimberly Frost's "Southern Witch" series. There's a definite triangle there.

Tammy Jo (Southern witch) / Bryn (handsome, dangerous, powerful wizard) / Zach (ex-husband on/off again town sheriff boyfriend)

message 58: by Aimee (new)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments I really liked Black Magic Sanction. But I'm not sure how much I liked Pierce. I think I'm team Al. lol.

message 59: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) LOL! He's growing on me as their "relationship" grows. I'm Team Kistin (still) I'm not sure how I feel about Pierce either. *Don't give too much away here b/c I think Flib is still early on in the series*

message 60: by Aimee (new)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments Eek! Sorry Flib. I won't say anymore.

message 61: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB Hehehe. Thanks ladies. I'm on book 7, so I'm not far away from Black Magic Sanction :)

message 62: by Aimee (new)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments I've got my aunt reading that series right now. She's loving it!

message 63: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) Flib, you're flyin' thru the series! Glad you're enjoying them. I need to reread the series at some point. Between the time in between books and all that happens in each I'd like to read straight thru, if I could manage, to put it all together a bit better.

message 64: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) I'm currently reading Lover Mine by J.R. Ward.
Love Triangle: Qhuinn/Blay/Saxton

message 65: by Aimee (new)

Aimee (facere323) | 36 comments Ooooo. I can't wait to see how the WARDen plays that one out.

message 66: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) *kicks Saxton outta the way* :D

message 67: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) Steph wrote: "*kicks Saxton outta the way* :D"

Very nice move. Make sure you knock him over and then I'll kick him while he's down.

The sad thing is, I would probably like Saxton if he didn't get involved with Blay.

That's my problem, too. I sort of feel bad for him. What's not to love about Blay. Do you blame him?

message 69: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) LOL! Poor Saxton, just in between the wrong couple at the wrong time.

message 70: by Mel (new)

Mel (mel_b) Exactly. And he's probably going to get killed off too! :(

message 71: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) You are so right, Aimee. What's not to love about adorable Blay?

What?! He's going to get killed off?! That's so sad. Poor Saxton.

message 72: by Mel (new)

Mel (mel_b) I'm not sure but Ward is totally hinting at it. She gets sad when she talks about him. But she adores him so he won't go bad.

message 73: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) Wow. That's so sad. Poor guy.

message 74: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB I haven't started it yet since it doesn't come out until next week.... Is anyone else planning on reading the end of the Hunger Games trilogy? :) :) :)

I'll be interested to see if it's Peeta or Gale.

Mockingjay (Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins

message 75: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) Me too! I can't wait for Mockingjay. I'm going for Peeta. How about you?

message 76: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) Heck yeah! LOL! I can't wait for that one, Flib. You got me hooked. :) And, I have to say that I flip-flop between Peeta & Gale. Initially I was all about Gale, but then after everything she went through with Peeta .... ugh. I think I still lean toward Gale, but even writing that I think that only Peeta can understand what she went threw during the games. Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Moe .... Guess we'll soon find out.

message 77: by Collette (new)

Collette (vwbernie) | 12 comments I'm reading Narcissus in Chains and this whole Anita Blake series has a love triangle with Anita, Jean-Claude (Vamp) and Richard (Werewolf). It's finally getting hot but it took several books. :/ It's a good thing I'm patient. lol

message 78: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB I think as you get further and further into the Anita Blake series, her love triangle widens and widens... until it's more of a large number of sides shape like a octagan or something. Anita Blake gets around in those books ;)

message 79: by Alice (last edited Sep 23, 2010 04:52PM) (new)

Alice Doe (AliceDoe) | 1 comments I just finished Vanishing Acts & there was a love triangle twist with three main characters Fitz, Eric & Delia. The three characters grew up together and a relationship evolved with Eric and Delia, but Fitz always had his eye on Delia. Aw. I really loved the characters in this book.

message 80: by Collette (new)

Collette (vwbernie) | 12 comments LOL! I think what you say makes sense Flib! She has already had sex with someone in this book that isn't part of the triangle so I'm not surprised at your statement. After reading most of the Merry series, I think it's just in her authoring nature. Oh well! We should all be so lucky! ;)

message 81: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lmmmml) LOL! Anita Blake is rather like the stars, there are soooo many that you can make any shape out of them that you want!!!:)

message 82: by Collette (new)

Collette (vwbernie) | 12 comments LMAO! That is too funny Lisa. I can't wait to read more now!

message 83: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB Alice -- Vanishing Acts sounds interesting. I'll have ot see if my library has a copy. :)

message 84: by Kathleen (new)

Kathleen (kittenspk) I'm currently reading The Mists of Avalon and there are definitely more lust triangles and one love triangle!

message 85: by Collette (new)

Collette (vwbernie) | 12 comments I read Mists earlier this year and loved it! Yeah, lots of triangles in that one. :)

message 86: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth Reyes (elirey) | 4 comments Well I'm reading Eclipse yet again. I think I rushed it the first time because I got into the whole Twilight thing late in the game and wanted to make sure I read it before the movie came out. I also write and all my hero's are very jealous so there is always some kind of triangle going on. I've only published one book so far but outta respect for the group I won't do a shameless plug. But I'm open to pm if anyone is interested! Off to the Twilight thread! =D

Elizabeth

message 87: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB I just finished a young-adult novel about fey. There was a bit of a love triangle blossoming between the heroine and Puck from the Seelie Court and Ash, a prince from the Unseelie Court.

Not sure if the author will continue the love triangle in the future books, but I will likely read them to find out. :)

The Iron King (Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa

message 88: by Zee (new)

Zee i have been reading the NATASHA CARMICHAEL SERIES. it has a love triangle going. the books are pretty good.

message 89: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) I'm reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I'm not very far, but there is of course the Katniss-Peeta-Gale love triangle.

message 90: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (icestarlight) | 3 comments I been reading Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, and it has a pretty good love triangle and then I just read Persnal Demons by Lisa Desrochers and it's pretty good as well.

message 91: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB Ooh. I have Clockwork Angel on my to-be-read list. I'm glad to hear it has a love triangle :)

What's Personal Demons about?

message 92: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (icestarlight) | 3 comments Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Catholic girl with a bit of a wicked streak. She's spent years keeping everyone at a distance—even her closest friends—and it seems her senior year will be more of the same...until Luc Cain enrolls in her class. No one knows where he came from, but Frannie can't seem to stay away from him. What she doesn't know is that Luc works in Acquisitions—for Hell—and she possesses a unique skill set that has the King of Hell tingling with anticipation. All Luc has to do is get her to sin, and he’s as tempting as they come. Frannie doesn’t stand a chance.

Unfortunately for Luc, Heaven has other plans, and the angel, Gabe, is going to do whatever it takes to make sure that Luc doesn’t get what he came for. And it isn't long before they find themselves fighting for more than just her soul.

But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay…for all of them.

So basically gets to choose between an Angel or a Demon, and both are really hot! Personally I'm torn between XP

message 93: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lmmmml) I just started Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh , does it have a triangle? I'm not too far along, but I can see the potential between Raphael and Dimitri.

message 94: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB Lisa -- I was wondering the exact same thing when I read this series back in April :)

message 95: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lmmmml) Yeah, I saw your comment, but I could not copy/paste to my screen! Computer illiterate me!LOL Have you read anymore of the series?

message 96: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lmmmml) I just read Would-Be Witch and it has a triangle between Tammy Jo, Brn Lyons and Zach. This is the first of the series that I have read, but I do like that Brn!! Sexy warlock! LOL

message 97: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) I'm reading Succubus Shadows, and there are two love triangles: Maddie, Seth, and Georgina, and Georgina, Seth, and Roman.

message 98: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lmmmml) Ooo, I want to read that one!!

message 99: by Leah (new)

Leah (leahkarge) It's really good so far, Lisa!
