ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I'm currently a fourth of the way through this book. It's the third Clarkson book I've read. The World According to Clarkson is more general observations whereas this book is more car related. Clarkson is one of the hosts of the BBC series Top Gear. He is also a columnist for the Sunday Times. He is one of or the premiere motoring journalist in England. Some of his observations (car related or not) in the book are hilarious. This is a slow read for me as I read only a chapter or two at a time (which are only 2-3 pages long as they are reprints of his Sunday Times articles).

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) The book is divided up into topics or chapters, each a different article from his column. Based on where I am in the book, if I read 5 topics/chapters tonight to even out the math, then I have to read exactly 4 topic/chapters a day to finish the book on the last day of Feb.

It might be a while before I can actually read the book. It is not in the Hawaii Public Library System at all, so I'll probably have to buy the book.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) My library doesn't have them either. I bought used copies off amazon.com to get ahold of Clarkson's books.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) If I were to buy just one Clarkson book, of the ones I've read so far, I'd choose The World According to Clarkson. It's more general and not so much car related as Born to be Riled is. That's not to say this isn't good. Just different. (He did 3 volumes of The World According to Clarkson).

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) Looks like I'm the only one reading this. I'm not done yet but about half way through. It is alot of "car talk" but I love the british humor that's mixed throughout the book.

I finally got the book. I wish there were dates at the end of each chapter/article so I'd have a better idea of when they were written. I mean, he's still talking about smoking and non-smoking on airplanes!

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I too sometimes wonder when they were written. On rare occassions, I've seen a footnote at the end of a chapter/article that stated a date because it made a difference in a law being changed since then. This book has more car talk than some of his others, but I do love his british humor.
