Okay i took a look at your read shelf and we have very similar tastes and are close in our ratings of those reads....so i would be pretty confident that you would enjoy the following as i did.....

Erotic - non vampire


Now for the vampire-eroica/romantica section (this one will be long cause there are some great books you have yet to read!

And...last but not least if you want a great shifter series read this


Look to Dan for the more terrifying Vamps....he likes those. Rj and Tiffany are more well rounded and likes them all. Angela Is down the the YA. Me i fit into the reads anything category....just as long as its gooooood!...laugh

So, I joined this group several weeks ago and have had a blast reading all the different post. I finally decided I should join in the chatter. I'm a late bloomer when it comes to liking vamp books. I really didn't think I had the stomach for them - then I read one under pressure - then another - then . . . well, you know. (I'm a retired English teacher - guess I just have a lot of "fun" reading to catch up on. That's my story, anyway!)

Right now I am reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. Is it weird to say I like the light-hearted tone I get from this series? I mean that does sound so wrong, somehow. Maybe it has something to do with the fact it is so very different than the "twilight" mood. LOL!

Welcome to the group, UJ. I've only read the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series so far, but I did enjoy it. Are there any other vamp books you've read? I'm sure we could make some recommendations for you if you want.
