James F, I should be getting Tim Keller's "The Reason For God:Belief in the Age of Skepticism " in the mail today! Also he is coming to speak in my area on May 22. I am going, and I want to take my skeptic brothers!

I saw "Expelled" last weekend. If you have a chance to see this you might want to go soon. In my area it was at several theaters a week ago and was down to two matinee showings by the weekend. Highly recommended. For further information see http://www.expelledthemovie.com/

"Expelled" looks interesting...theres no theaters playing it here though. Hopefully

So you got to visit Tim Keller's church- great! My sister -in-law is trying to get her good friend in N.Y. to go. He is a skeptic. My husband started the "Reason for God," book and said it is very good, clear and answers many questions. We are going to read the book in our adult & Teen Sunday school class, in 2 weeks.
Hope this isn't redundant. I just posted a comment and it vanished into the ozone.
"The Reason for God" came into the library today. It's in a pile on my desk. I was lamenting that there is a mountain of library journals to plow through and those must take priority until 6 pm after which my reading time is my own.

Did ya get to the "Reason for God" yet? I just started the other day, but yesterday I had a migraine, which meant no reading :(
I'm on chapter two. Sorry about the migraine. Hope you're feeling better today.

Hang in there, Karen, it's almost August!
Has anyone read anything by A. W. Tozer?

Yes. I read he's an evangelical who was grounded in writings of the saints and church fathers and mothers. Sounds like an interesting perspective. It looks like the two classics are The Pursuit of God and Knowledge of the Holy.

Just got the two above-mentioned titles. Would you like to read one of these? If so, which do you want to do first?
