Fahrenheit 451 - Part One

I am late reading this book... but I love how the conversation turned to video games (anyone play Halo on XBOX 360?). I am able to play games and talk to friends who live far away all the time. It is so much fun. Though I hate when I am playing and some boy goes... "is a GIRL playing". It always happens! :)

As far as section 1 goes I am sad Clarisse got killed off already. How sad that people don't just sit and talk anymore. One thing that stood out to be was Beatty saying that society got rid of books to not offend minorities. Disturbing that instead of celebrating differences we shun them. I hope Clarisse somehow pops up in the end of the book.

Yeah, I think that Bradbury was anti-political-correctness. He and Vonnegut... "Harrison Bergeron" anyone?
