Leslie (funlovinlady) | 138 comments I just bought two of her books. I was in a hurry so I grabbed "No Rest For The Wicked" and another one, (I think the name is kiss of a demon king....)

What should I do. Would you read the ones I have or wait and get the other books first?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Tiffany, You saved me, just in time. I almost opened the cover of "No Rest For The Wicked" and started reading.... But now, I plan on taking a little trip to the bookstore.

Thanks again. SMILE

Angela (angbens) | 343 comments Yeah, you won't understand a whole lot if you don't read them in order. I love this series.

Heather (lonelyunicorn) | 67 comments I actually haven't read them in order and I don't think I had a hard time following them. You just kind of have to fill in the blanks yourself lol. I love this series!

Lynsey A (lovesdarcy) | 31 comments This is a wonderful series! I'm very OCD about reading books in order and I read [image error] before reading the Myst's story. However, I didn't miss much. You may enjoy them more reading them in order. To each his own, I suppose.

Tiffany has it right! They are REALLY GOOD!!!! :-)

I actually went looking for this series AFTER reading the Myst story. I decided that I just had to see what else was going on in the series. And I have definately not felt like I took a wrong step, except . . . .

Well, the wrong step is my being really annoyed by the the cover that Lynsey showed. I'm sorry, but by that cover you think that the GUY is the vamp--when actually its the little tiny blond bim that's the vamp. Sigh, HE'S just a lycan. (Ok, ok, he's just the KING of the lycans, but still. . .)

Personally,. I think you can read The Warlord Wants Forever and then skip A Hunger Like No Other. Most people seem to think it's the worst one, and I know quite a few people who have been turned off of the series because of it.
You can find The Warlord Wants Forever online and then read No Rest for the Wicked, in my opinion.

Laura (highlandhussy) | 194 comments I think that they should be read in order. I read them in order, but The WArlord Wants Forever after I'd read all the others, and it wasn't too confusing, but it helps to read all the Wroth bros in order, since they all seem to take place at the same time.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 461 comments I love this series. I read A Hunger Like No Other first, and I was wondering who Myst and Nikolai were. But otherwise, it was fine. I really loved AHLNO, but like Jan says, a lot of fans don't care for the one. I'm jealous that you're getting to read these for the first time, Leslie.

Lynsey A (lovesdarcy) | 31 comments Danielle,
I agree. I too loved AHLNO. That is what got me reading the series. However, that's what reading is all about. What someone loves someone else might hate. :)

Extremely jealous! I turned my sister on to this series and was envious she was getting to read them for the first time...

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 461 comments Lynsey, I'm trying to get my sister into this series. She's on the first book still. Sigh!

message 17: by Lynsey A (new)

Lynsey A (lovesdarcy) | 31 comments She's dragging her feet??? Say it isn't so!? :) Is she reading Myst's short story or AHLNO?

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 461 comments AHLNO. My sister gets distracted from books very easily. It's making me pull my hair out!

message 19: by Lynsey A (new)

Lynsey A (lovesdarcy) | 31 comments LOL, not me. If I'm really into a book and reading, if someone talks to me, I usually miss it. :)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 461 comments That happens with me and a good book, too.

Um, wait--you mean if you are reading a good book, you are actually supposed to PAY ATTENTION when someone is talking to you? Who made up that rule? Guess I'll have to try to remember to do that.

message 22: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany (vampoholic) | 122 comments Good luck with that, if u ask me, some rules were made to b broken, lmao;)
