   50) Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris - I thought for the special #50 I needed something funny yet quick (I started it today and am already halfway through). I can't believe I made it to 50 - as my husband would say, "CHEE-HOO!!!!"

Thanks Donna!!! I have only read 2 of David Sedaris' books so far. I am definitely going to have to read some more because I just crack up everytime and I really need that in my life right now.

Can't wait to see what new characters and craziness are in store.

   52) The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson - Can't wait to find out how this series ends (though I am crossing my fingers that there are other manuscripts to release as rumored). I just watched the movie for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and was totally disappointed. I hope the American version is better at explaining the characters and the story and finds a girl better suited to play Salander.

I have really enjoyed listening to and reading this series. I am going to be sorry to see it end. I guess that's why I am taking my time to get through it.

So far, they are actually very different, but still very good. Can't wait to finish it.

   57) Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant by Darren Shan - These books are easy to get through, but fun at the same time. This book is definitely not like the movie whatsoever, yet it's the book that bears the movie title. I think I am just getting to the good stuff though, so I must stop typing and get to reading.

   58) The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan - continuing on with the series as the last book really got me back into the story of Percy Jackson. I just love these characters. Can't get enough. And this book so far is fabulous. I was happy to come home sick from work today and just listen until I passed out.

I was happy to come home sick from work today and just listen until I passed out.Still anxiously awaiting for my name to come up on the wait list for "Catching Fire", the next book in the "Hunger Games" series. I even got my husband to listen to "Hunger Games" and he's asking me everyday if I got the e-mail yet saying that I could pick up the next book. AAAAHHH!!!! I hate waiting.

   60) The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan - Yes, I have made it to 60, though I hoped to be reading "Mockingjay" as my 60th since I am anxious to find out how the trilogy ends. I just finished "Catching Fire" tonight. "Mockingjay" wasn't in at the audiobook store, so I will finish the other series I can't wait to finish. What kind of mess will Percy Jackson and friends get themselves into this time? What new characters will come to life? Will they be friend or foe? Well, there's only one way to find out. Here goes!!!

   61) Ranger's Apprentice: The Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan - I heard this was a great series, so I thought I would check it out. I seem to be in escape mode right now, so another action, adventure series is perfect. I hope.

I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson series, so I gave it a try and so far I am actually liking it.

I think I would be tolerating the wait better if my husband wasn't bugging me every second to see if our name came up on the list yet. I can't wait. I'm just keeping myself busy till then.

   63) Cirque du Freak: Vampire Mountain by Darren Shan - This is the 4th book in the series and my favorite so far. My husband has told me that I have to slow down on the amount of books I buy, so I have been downloading free ebooks. The majority of books available on the app. I downloaded seems to cater to young adult books, which is no biggie, I read a lot of YA. So here goes into the world of the ebook. How technology changes everything.

   68) Cirque du Freak: Allies of the Night by Darren Shan - Either I am reading incredibly fast or these free ebooks are seriously abridged. If they are abridged, I hope I'm not missing too much of the story.

Would you mind sharing the website where you are getting the free e-books? I'm hoping to get a Nook for Christmas, but am worried that I'm going to spend even more money than on regular books, since you can buy and download them immediately and our library does not seem to carry many yet!

Jessica, I have been downloading the books on my cell phone. The App on Android is called, "Laputa" and the site I grab from most through "Laputa" is called "Aveyewn". I've been checking out the Nook because I really like the new NookColor, but also because I hate reading on my tiny cell phone screen. I have to turn the page so often, it's annoying. From what I understand there are many free books for the nook too, many that are being released solely as ebooks by authors I like, and when i have checked out buying books for the nook, they are cheaper than buying the actual book. The Nook also gives you the option to share books with others, so if I can find lots of people with a nook, we could share and save money that way also. At least that's my hope. For my birthday I am asking for gift cards to buy it. Crossing my fingers that my plan goes as planned though I am still looking for more input from people who actually have a Nook. Let me know if you hear anything.

I would really like one, too, I'm just hoping they work on ways to rent/share books. My libarary's current e-book selection is really small so far, and I just would feel really bad if I read an e-book once, didn't like it, and couldn't even give it away :)
Jessica, My husband took me to B&N on Friday to get me the new Nook for my birthday only to find out that it's backordered till Dec. 3rd. But while we were there I got to take a look at it and decided that I REALLY liked it. We put my name down to reserve one. Now, it's just a waiting game.

 72) Cirque du Freak: Sons of Destiny (Book 12) - by Darren Shan 73) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - by J.K. Rowling - I am re-listening to the series. This time when I started listening to it, I remembered the first time I read it and how excited I was to get to the next book, then I started thinking about how the whole thing is coming to an end. I have spent how many years reading these books, anxiously awaiting the next one, watching the movies and then anxiously awaiting the next one of those. I have read and listened to them over and over. What will life be like without waiting for some sort of Harry Potter Deadline? Weird. Just Plain weird.

   74) Undead and Unwed - by Mary Janice Davidson - I was searching around on my phone for something else to read and came across this series. I was actually looking for a non-fiction book, but they don't have a very good selection in that category. Oh well, hopefully these are a good to hold me over till I get my Nook and hopefully more free e-books to choose from.
