The only thing you can is your best. Be calm and know that you can do it, don't be too nervous. I believe in you as well as everyone here! And that's awesome that you're graduating. Awesome job, Angie!!

Oh yeah, also how is everybody????

Everything's going great in my world, buddy. On June 3rd, I'll become a 31-year-old man with the heart of a kid. Five days later, I'll finally have my sleep study, which means more energy for me throughout the day instead of submitting to sleep apnea. Three days after that, I'm going to see Slipknot and Marilyn Manson in concert together. June can't come soon enough for me.
It seems as though you're doing alright with your new job, so congratulations on that. I know it can be stressful at times, but if anybody can conquer the stress, it's you, buddy. Keep working hard and being an awesome person, my friend! :)

And I know what you are going through. Believe it or not, people think because of a scare where I was nearly suffocating one night they wonder if I should be tested for sleep apnea. I don't know if I'd get the days on a good week but I am thinking about it.
It's funny. It's more than a coincidence I think! :D

Break a leg! (Or does one say that for speeches?!) Be yourself, relax and breathe without trying. Just do it naturally and you will be fine. Not sure if the underwear thing would work, and if not, remember that everyone in the audience is stark naked beneath their clothes! ;-)

And I was away for three days on a yoga/meditation/breathing retreat. Oh! That included no talking, writing or on-line stuff. Very good.
Be well, everyone! :-)

My speech is about 36 and a half minutes in. If you want to/have time to listen to the music before that, I highly recommend it. My school's choir and orchestra are pretty fabulous. But if you don't wanna watch any of it at all, no hard feelings :)
Thanks again for all your support last month.

Hello Angie. I enjoyed your speech! Well done, and I liked your emphasis on strength. So true! And although you were a bit fast, and I could hear your nervousness in your voice, you indeed had the strength of character and poise to speak powerfully and clearly. Well done!
And I wish you the strength you have generously wished your classmates. And two more things, gentle things. Remember to breathe and that kindness expressed is one of humanity's greatest and under respected strengths.
Angieeeee! You did great :) Yes, we all need strength to carry on.
Anyway, your surname is my maiden name :)

That would explain why your initials used to spell the word LAMP. Hehe! That's cute. :)

Yeah I was working only to live since so many people are at my house and there were so little jobs being done by my family. Also I hope to one day live on my own.
And it's fine Guy, we like whatever you have to offer in the WSS! We and I appreciate hearing from you whenever you get the chances. :)
Plus before I forget I should show you a "play" my church has done for quite a number of years. It's only during the Christmastime but I could show you it anytime. I am just thinking of that vid you posted of you on stage. That was great!

Anyone doing anything fun? We had a parade go by our house and someone at work invited me to their house for a barbecue later in the evening.

Our 4th was pretty boring. Hung out most of the day then fireworks that night. Not even hot dogs and burgers this year. It was just a day to relax.
Everyone doing short stories this week is submitting something emotional and heartbreaking. And I'm over here like, "Hmm, time to kill a character."

My Fourth wasn't bad. I was invited by a coworker to go to his barbecue which was a bigger event than I thought as he had a DJ handing out prize comedy tickets. I won one of them! It's a place near the area so I wouldn't have to travel too far to see it by bus.
Then I got driven home by my dad and we stayed at my neighbors.' They had a toned-down bbq (it was inside since they heard it would rain and they were right on the ticket on that one!) and I got a s'more my brother made and we watched tv shows on DVD (Night Gallery, Hammer House of Horror). It was a pretty nice night.

I always had good results standing in the corner snarling. People seemed to be intrigued....

I've been on a job for about two months now and so I'm either constantly busy with that or good stuff. I have been having trouble balancing my schedule sometimes but that's just how life is when a lot of people in your family have lost jobs so we've got to make a living somehow.
It was hard. But I am good and I am seeing amazing blessings from God, He is awesome!
