Lori, you have your profile set to Private. So we can't see the type of books you like to read. You might want to consider making it public. It really is a great feature to connect with others who like to read the same genre as you do, as well as learn what GR groups they belong to. I've found a few GR groups that I joined by reading other readers profiles.

I joined GR in December after receiving a kindle for Christmas. I needed some reading suggestions and this place has been so helpful. I'd love some more friends to compare book lists with!

Another way to find people who like to read the same books as you do is to click on a book title or book cover that you like and see the other GR posters who rated it highly. Check out their profiles.

Also if you go to the top of any GR page you can click on FIND Books OR the Explore TAB than select Books.

You will find a lot of lists of books in every genre. Click on the book covers, and see what other GR poster have to say about it. And click on their profiles to see what groups they belong to on GR and the books on their GR bookshelf.
