So this is my first group, can you tell me how it works? I'm probably too late to start reading the August book choice, but I would definitely like to read what you guys choose for September.
Hello I'm Christine and I can't tell you my favorite book because I could never pin it down to just one. I read just about anything-historical, paranormal, contemporary, young adult suspense- well you get the idea. I'm new to goodreads so I'll need help getting around.

I love a good vamp too!... or a bad one ;). Twilight got me started in the vamp genre, although it lacked some in the intimate sections in my opinion. Guess that's what I get for reading "young adult fiction". Lol. I've recently discovered Lynsay Sands and her vamp series is AWESOME! Humor, love, sex... it's got it all!

Thanks CaroB! I voted for next months book. Can't wait to find out what it'll be and get started reading. I love discussing what I'm reading with others who are reading same book! But the girls I work with are getting sick of me bringing them books to read so I can talk with them ;)

I am also a Romance Writer Mary. Well I technically have to call it "romantic women's fiction", check out my blog and you'll see why ;). I would love to start a writers group! "Love's Fate" is my first novel, and will be the first in a series. I would love to connect with other authors in this genre!

My favorite authors are Isabel Allende (my favorite book from her is "La Casa de los espítitus") and Jane Austen, I love every book, but mostly Pride and Prejudice. Her historicals are ok, they do have her signature humor, but her vampire series is fantastic! I would highly recommend it! There are a lot of them, so make sure you read them in order. You really don't have to, but I think they are better that way. They were published out of order. But if you go to her website you can get the list of the order they should be read in to get the stories chronologically.

Hiya, newbie here, a Finn who loves some things French. Doesn't that spell out a romance lover to you too? Anyhow, I saw this group featured and decided to join. It'll probably take a while for me to get the hang of how things are done here, but I really, really want to find out good romance recs. I'm so tired of wading through the one and two star Harlequins. So, please, bear with me.
