Btw, I live in the Tri-Cities in Washington state.

It is an amazing place to live. Sunshine about 250 days a year. Short, but cold and icy, winters. Our trees and shrubs actually started budding about 3 wks ago. Great schools. Pretty good shopping, and our restaurants are improving rapidly. If your into water sports, we're surrounded by rivers. We are also the center of NW wine country. We have some pretty incredible wineries in the area, including Hogue cellars. Howard Amon park is host to some really great art festivals and many charity events throughout the year.

My name is Meka and I'm from CA. When I originally joined Goodreads last August I thought my favorite genre was anything having to do with romance and HEAs. I have since learned that is not the case. I am a fan of most genres political/non-fiction included. There has only been one area that I tend to shy away from- horror. Horror gives me nightmares. With that being said, I do not have a favorite author/book. There are so many talented writers out there and I am still discovering them.
Anyways, I'm glad to be a part of this group as I am definitely challenge-impaired as I'm that GR user who can't figure out how to post an image properly lol.
I look forward to meeting/conversating with other challenge-impaired individuals in this group.

You might find our folder GoodReads How To... helpful, specifically, Add a Book/Bookcover Link.

Lisa Kay, I think the threads you suggested were made for me :-)

If my memory serves me correctly I've only read cozy mystery books with mishaps where I can curl up on my couch and giggle a bit. If you have any suggestions for other mystery type books please shoot them my way as I love to read different books.

I read many genres and love discussing a story. This is an outstanding group and I appreciate the work done to create meaningful book discussions.

I live in upstate NY with three of my four children ages 18-30 (my 18 yr old has autism). Most of the books I read I actually listen to as my eyes are just not up to reading for very long. I do sometimes read kindle books as I can enlarge the text easily.
My kids joke with me that I don't have a life ... that I have a lot of books. lol It is basically true. I listen to books every day for hours as I am home almost all of the time. When I am not listening I sometimes like to write my own lil stories.
I have already jumped in & joined several challenges so I decided I should pop in here to say hi.

Hey Jonetta *waves* Glad you've joined us and I just know you're gonna enjoy the group reads :0)

I have been reading romance of all kind since "I dont remember" lol.
I love J.R. Ward, Nora Roberts, etc

I started reading romance less than a year ago and fell in love with this genre.

I like HR generally, classics and series.
