Allison, I love Outlander and it always gives my heart a little warm and fuzzy moment when I see someone is reading it and also loving it!
Glad to have you lad..."
Jenny, YES, read it! I thought the same thing & the very beginning is a little slow but push through it & it will not disappoint!! I also got through it faster than I thought I would because I never wanted to put it down! As a matter of fact I was up finishing it until 6am!! lol
CaroB, YAY! Isnt it lovely? I get the fuzzies from reading it and Im finding myself now excited to recommend it & see others loving it as well!! Its a must read & now my fav! I had to shake off the Outlander "Coma" I was in while reading it. lol Im waiting on Dragonfly in Amber to get here to me & cant figure out what to read in the meantime! lol

Hey neighbor!! *waves from WI* Welcome to the group! I'm right there with you on the romance books. If I'm not reading one, I'm miserable. ;) I look forward to trading recommends. See you in the threads!

Hi, y'all! I'm Kristina, from Ohio, avid romance reader and lover of happily-ever-afters. My favorites are Jude Deveraux, Jayne Ann Krentz and ... well, too many more to name individually without taking up a whole other page.
Hi all! I'm Jennifer from South Carolina and I mostly enjoy YA or paranormal romance books but I read almost anything depending on my mood lol. Looks like a fun group!
Hi, my name is Bridget, I love reading romances. I'm new to Goodreads and new to this group. I'm no good for challenges so not quite sure I chose the right group. Let me know if that's the case, I'll leave the group :)
Hi Bridget! Welcome to the group! You don't have to participate in the challenges if you don't want to. You can just chat with us in all the threads :)
Susan, thanks for your warm welcome!I feel a little lost but I'll try to find the right chats. Are there any romantic suspense threads?
*hangs head in shame* I'm a mod of this board and I don't know if we have any romantic suspense threads LOL It's not a genre I read often. Feel free to pop into any thread and chat there, we all do it :)

Let me say, you found a great group to start with - whether you're into the challenges are not. :)

Hello Bridget! I don't think we have a romantic suspense thread but you can always start one! You can also pop over to Currently Reading 2012. You can post what you're currently reading and see what other members are reading.
Welcome to RLftCI, Bridget! CaroB is going to be glad you joined; she's really into Romantic Suspense. I think Pamela (AllHoney) is, too. I know another moderator, Heather, is; unfortunately, she is out on personal leave. Here is the link to discussion folders on Contemporary Romance/Romantic Suspense. They haven't been activated in awhile; however, feel free to choose one and start posting.
OMG, I go offline for a few days and look at what I miss out on!! I want to send a big WELCOME!! to Drew, Kristina, JenniferJ and Bridget.
Feel free to join a challenge or not, it's all good. The fantastic thing about this group is there's absolutely no pressure and the awesome people here are soo encouraging of any effort.
The other good thing is hearing about what everyone's reading and adding even more books to our TBR piles.... I also recommend checking out the freebies thread, it's absolute gold!
Bridget - another RomSus reader, woohoo!!!What are your favourites? I've just gone through the Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley and I quite enjoyed them.

Hi CaroB, old romantic suspense novels are still my favourites like Kathleen Woodiwiss, but some of the new stuff is really good. I've recently discovered this An Era Apart and I became a fan.
I'll check out Kristen Ashley, sounds good. Thanks for your recommendation :)
thanks for the welcome, everyone! It's been a few days since I've been able to come back ~ hate when that happens!
Jenny wrote: "Welcome Kristina! I'm an Ohioan too. :) I have a few Jude Deveraux books on my TBR. Do you have a favorite?"Legend is my favorite - at the moment...but the Summer House books are very close!
Hi all, I'm Ruby from Singapore. Julia Quinn has got to be my favourite romance author and I especially love the Bridgerton series. Other authors that I like would be Judith McNaught, Stephanie Laurens and Andrea Kane.
Hi! My name is Joani and I've been reading since I was 16 and one of mt very first books was Forever Amber and Outlander. I love in Rockingham, NC; married with three kids. About to move to Montana.
Hi ya'll. My name is Ginny. I currently live in SW Virginia. I'm an avid reader and writer. I've been reading romance since I was 13. The first author that hooked me was Johanna Lindsey and her Mallorys. (sighs) There is just something about a rakish bad boy that gets the heart a fluttering.
Hey y'all! I just joined Goodreads a few days ago and only phone no less. I love to read and have no favorite author but I do love the highlander books and any well pretty much anything I can get my hands on in my spare time. I'm from South Ga and I have two kids and they both like to read also. Look forward to hearing about new books and y'alls opinions on them.
