Hi Ellie, welcome! I love Divergent as well, haven't gotten to the second book yet though. Did you like Insurgent?
Hi everyone, I'm Hope and I'm so glad I discovered this group. I've been lurking over at Romance Challenges, mostly afraid to commit. (Sounds like a romance heroine...) My favorite romance authors are Lavyrle Spencer, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and Jennie Cruisie
Hi Hope! Welcome to the group. :)
Hi Hope! Welcome to the group! Please poke around and see what we've got going on. There are some great ladies here :)
Hi Hope! Welcome! I absolutely adore Lavyrle Spencer's Morning Glory. That is one of my favorite books. :)
Hi, I am Adele, I live in the UK, I don't actually read very much romance. I read pretty much any genre but my favourites tend to crime/mystery, YA, and Fantasy - these genres are always improved if their is romance involved in the plot as well. I don't have a favourite author who I return to over and over again as I read such a wide variety, if you were to check my read list of books you will probably only find 2 or 3 authors who i have read more than one book by. I love challenges and have a lot in progress but I tend to fit what I am reading into the challenge rather than use the challenges to decide what to read.
Hi everyone :)I'm Anja from Slovenia and I love books. I don't usually participate in challenges since I don't like the time limit. I do check every challenge and use whatever I like to decide what to read next. I find it easier than blindly searching for the next book to read. I read many genres, my favorite authors would be Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Cherise Sinclair, Lora Leigh, Lynn Hagen, Conn Iggulden.
Hi, Gea!! I'm a big Cherise Sinclair fan, too. And Lora Leigh. I'll have to check out the others you listed. :)
I'm right there with you on the time limit thing with challenges, but this group has a nice August one that only commits you to 6. That gives you plenty of wiggle room for other books, or for real life stuff.
See you around the threads!

I love your koala avatar, I wondered if you might have been an Aussie when I saw it! Completely agree with your comment above about crime/mystery being a richer read with a romance sub-plot! I think that's why I still have a weakness for romantic suspense :-) Look forward to seeing some of your lists in our challenges!

No pressure on the challenges, don't feel like you have to join any if you don't want to, but we do have some that last 3 months, 6 months and even some yearlies if that helps with time restraints! Welcome again :-) Should we call you Gea or or Anja? What would you prefer?
Thank you all for a warm welcome :) @Kyra: Susan Elizabeth Phillips writes excellent contemporary romance, her books always make me laugh. Lynn Hagen writes paranormal M/M romance, Conn Iggulden writes historical fiction not romance, but still great books :) I'm still getting acquainted with the group and I will probably enter a challenge when I "inspect" everything and see what suits me most.
@CaroB: I somehow prefer Gea but it felt right to introduce myself with my real name :)
Welcome, Gea! I love SEP & LL, so now I have to check out the other authors you listed. (Iggulden - ? I can always use another "I" author.)

Welcome Hope, Adele, and Gea! We are a very easy going bunch. I recommend you check out the August newsletter to see what we have going on this month. I'm sure you can find something to your tastes. See you in the threads!

Hi Karen :-) Glad to have you on board. I've heard a lot of good things about Katie McAlister, but I've not tried any of her books
Awesome, I always troll around on boards and amazon looking for a great book that will suck me in and then my husband doesn't hear from me for a day or so until I surface again :)
He says between that and my writing he is suprised I remember I'm married ..lol :)

Hi Ella! Welcome to the group! I had to laugh at what your Hubby said. I am SOOO thankful mine works out of town and we only see him about 1 weekend a month. He cuts down my reading time ;)

I am still single. I only hope that my future husband will be forgiving of my book buying and reading habit. I have been told by some of my friends that my addiction is so bad that I may need psychiatric help. I can't help it if I talk about the characters I read about like they are real! I just feel that connected to them sometimes.
