If you'd like, feel free to introduce yourself to the group. Tell us your name, what part of the country that you're in, and your favorite book by your favorite author.

Hi. My name is Michelle. I currently live in Nashville, TN. One of my favorite authors is Teresa Medeiros and my favorite book by her is After Midnight.
My name is Megan and I live in Northern Virginia. One of my favorite authors is Maggie Shayne and one of my favorite books by her is Twilight Illusions.
hi i am Rachael perfer wlfgrl and i live in florida my fav. books would be the black dagger brother hood series by J.R. Ward
Hey Megan--we are neighbors. :o) I also live in the Greater DC Metropolitan Area (aka the allergy capitol of the country--forget that stupid government stuff, we are REALLY known for the horrendous allergies that everyone who moves here starts suffering from.) I know Michelle from a couple of other groups we are both in--and, well, I'm a challenge sucker. Can't resist them. They give my reading such structure. :o)
Hi Anna aka Iftcan! Welcome to the group! It's nice to meet you! Michelle and I were suffering from "never able to finish a challenge" syndrome. So, we decided to start a group for anytype of romance with a lower challenge book number (although the number of books for each montly challenge will be different).
I'm from not so sunny Carmichael, California (we're in the middle of a rain and wind storm). My favorite author is Diana Gabaldon with her Outlander books. I will pretty much read everything - mysteries, romances, paranormal, sci-fi, biographies, autobiographies. Right now I'm flipping between PNR and HR books.
Hi, I'm Lori and I live in Knoxville, TN. One of my favorite authors is Karen Marie Moning and one of my favorite books by her is The Dark Highlander. I absolutely love her Fever series too. I mostly read PNR and UF. Normal people just don't cut it for me anymore, lol.
LooLoo- Welcome! I agree with you about the "normal" people- which is why I usually don't read contemporary romance.
Hi everyone, I'm Keta Diablo a voracious reader and author. I don't know which one I like better.I live in the Midwest part of the US on a lovely lake named after a famous Native American Chief. Here, we commune with the owls, eagles and loons (think winged version). The locals tell us we have burial grounds in our woods. Oh-Oh, maybe it's not always the wind I hear howling at night.
I write for several publishers, too many at times. I write erotic romance, mostly historical and paranormal.
If you like, you can find out more about my books here: http://www.ketadiablo.com. And don't forget to sign up for my newsletter while you're there. I give away THREE books every month if you're signed up.
I'll drop back in real soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions, leave me a message at my web site. I check my mail often, and Michelle knows how to get a hold of me here.
Fondly, Keta
Hi MIchelle, thanks so much for inviting me. You know how to get a hold of me on here or e-mail me any time and nudge me once in a while. I get so buried under a rock with my writing, I sometimes forget to stop in, but I have it bookmarked.here's my e-mail, Michelle, ketadiablo@yahoo.com
I'll think of a contest to have for the group and give away three books to members of Romance Lovers For The Challenge - Impaired soon!
Hugs, Keta
Hello all, My name is Shell Schroth... (say that 5x fast, I dare you).. And I am an Avid reader, and prefer romance. Lately I find, I have been craving a little deeper of a read. I find myself seeking out these tombs, and getting lost in them. They have to have romance for me to enjoy them though, such as 'Outlander', 'The Bronze Horseman', 'Into The Wilderness'.. Alot of these books are considered Historical Fiction, as opposed to Historical Romance. I say, if its historical, and its a love story, then its Historical Romance-Fiction. I have obnly recently started looking for the lengthier reads, and would LOVE some suggestions. Thx for the invite Meagan... Look forward to chatting with all of you.
Hi! I'm Yz (from the other Romance Challenge group : ). I love to read and my poison of choice is anything that has "romance" in it.Looking forward to discussing books with my fellow romance readers.
Hi, I'm Danielle. I'm addicted to books and GRs. My favorite book is Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase. My favorite author is the wonderful Anne Stuart. Thanks for the invite!
Hi Danielle! Good to see you- Welcome! I have Lord of Scoundrels on my TBR shelf- I'm glad to hear that you think so highly of it!
Its been on my physical bookshelf for a while! I obviously need to move it up! It sounds really, really good!
HI, I'm Debbie. I live in Central Virgina. I've been reading romances since the age of 16. I'm 43, divorced with no kids. I joined this group about a week or so ago but I guess I never took the time to introduce myself before now. Sorry about that.
I really couldn't remember if I had posted my introduction or not and then saw that I hadn't, so I posted one. LOL!
Hi all- I'm a newbie, obviously :)...and I just thought I'd throw out a HI-ALL yell to everyone!Probably like most on here, I'm Romance Reading OBSESSED! Have been since I was in middle school- a result of my mother's doing, and I will never grow tired of this genre :).

Welcome Jacqueline!!
Hi all. I've belonged here for about a month but I'm more of a lurker, posting mostly only when updating my challenges and bookshelves. :-) I don't really have a specific author that's a favorite as that changes all the time, depending on what books I'm addicted to at the moment. LOL But a long time loved author of mine is Jude Deveraux. My first "real" (I had read a lot of my mom's gothics before that) romance was Knight in Shining Armor and that began my love for paranormal romance. :-)

Hello. I just joined this group a few days ago. But this is the first time I've really checked out the boards. I've been on Goodreads for about a year now I guess. I joined a few groups and then didn't take the time to see what other groups were out there until a couple of days ago. I'm also on Booksfree and Paperbackswap.

Good question! I've never heard of Booksfree, but I have to admit I'm a die-hard fan of paperbackswap :).
Hello, I just joined and am glad to be here.I'm from Connecticut and Los Angeles (yes, both...long story!) but live permanently in Tokyo (even longer story).
I've been addicted to books my whole life. I will read anything as long as it's good. To be honest, my first love is fantasy and science fiction but I come from a long line of romance readers. I swiped Sweet Savage Love by Rosemary Rodgers from my Mom when I was 14. She in turn had swiped it from Grandpa..yeah, you heard me right.
Grandpa read bodice rippers. He had a tough life and I guess they were his escape.
I also devoured Barbara Cartland all through high school...anyone remember those? Titles like The Wicked Marquis. They go for 100 dollars on Amazon these days!
Anyway, glad to be here. I'm looking forward to making friends and sharing book recommendations.
Welcome Gaijinmama. I got started on my romance novel reading craze by reading one of my mother's books. Now, I'm an addict! Welcome aboard, Mary.
Hello, I live in Canada all my adult life. Joined Goodreads in March 2010. The first challenge I joined was to read 10 books for the month of April. From the word "start" I was in a slump. I love reading. As I finish one book, I have to have another. Read 300 page novels in one day!!! But as soon I heard "start" I struggled. Go days without even picking up a book. I've struggled threw 8/10 books so far...but I'm glad I found you! Cheers.
