Np. :) Happily, Singh's Psy-Changeling series also has a really interesting overall plot, and there's always action/suspense and some mystery.

Cool! I'm always on the look out for a good series. :)

message 4381: by FlibBityFLooB (new)

FlibBityFLooB For THE HOST, I didn't start enjoying the book until after they arrived at the caves... somewhere after around 100 pages or so. I know people with very similar reading tastes to me that still hated the book, though, so it's definitely not for everyone.

For those of you who can make it past 100 pages, it does get better. Made me cry *a lot* :)

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 184 comments I am currently re-reading The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. I am on book 2 (New Moon) It has vampires and werewolves in it. :)

I am going to check out everyone else's current reads. Any of you in this group feel free to add me as a friend. I would love to see what others who like this genre are reading/have read/want to read next! Great group idea! (Excuse the intense excitement... I am new here. :)

Gemma (bookmoodreviews) | 511 comments ITs not that the ending was bad, it was just I was so angry at how it ended. I don't want to spoil it, but lets just say that a characters sacfrice was totally thrown out by the ending.

Does seem that the series is getting back on track though

Andrea, if it wasn't for this board, I wouldn't have read further than the first book--Mac bugged the crap out of me, but everyone said "keep reading", so I did.

I finished Dreamfever last week and am still thinking about it--as of now, it is my fave UF series, with the Kate Daniels series a close second.

So yeah, keep reading. :)

message 4398: by Laura Lulu (new)

Laura Lulu (lauralulu) And I have had Blaze of Memory on hold at the library for over a month now--I actually put it on hold before it was out to try to get myself at the front of the line. Nalini Singh must be more popular around here than I thought.

Awesome! Thanks! I picked up BloodFever last night and didn't put it down till I went to sleep.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) (ibookienookie) I am currently reading The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty (Erotic Adventures of Sleeping Beauty, Book 1) by A.N. Roquelaure by Ann Rice/A.N. Roquelaure.

I am not sure how I feel about this book. On PAGE 3 the sex and degradation begins and although I am only about 1/2 way through, it has pretty much continued. I am not a prude by any stretch, I am just thinking this is not the book for me. The sub/dom theme is just a little much for me--especially since there seems to be little to no relief in sight for the sub. The book, thus far has succeeded in making me feel turned off, angry, sad and repulsed.

I can see the interested in sub/dom, bdsm if it is played out like it is in Lover Unbound (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #5) by J.R. Ward --you know where you play the role and then go back to your regular life. Not when you LIVE the role constantly. The verdict is still out...
