What are you reading right now?
I'm about 100 pages into Faith Hunter's Skinwalker--so far so good, lots of mysteries since she doesn't even really know what she is. It's the 1st book of a new series, so you have a lot of set-up as is normal in a 1st book, so I'm still waiting for it to grab me--hopefully soon. :)
Im reading Dark of the Moon by Susan Krinard, anyone heard of it???
I'm almost done with Shadowlight by Lynn Viehl. After that's over...I really don't know what I'll read! I have J.R. Ward's Covet in my Kindle, as well as Sherrilyn Kenyon's Born of Night. Not sure which direction to go.

last night. Avenged is the last DBD for long :( I'm sad to read it so I may put it off for a lil while.
I tried to read Covet, got about 100 pages in and just couldn't finish it. I'll have to come back to it later. Finished Embrace the Night and now am reading Curse the Dawn by Karen Chance. I really like this series.
Why couldn't you finish it? what's wrong with it?
I thought the 7 soul premise and the angels playing croquet was different. And then the dark side picking him when he's not really a bad guy. Him asking that other guy to dinner instead of coffee which would seem more appropriate (as you can see I remember no ones name). I kept going UGH - not believable. Of course, the books I read are pretty much fantasy anyway so what am I talking about. I had to make myself keep reading it. I'll come back later after I've read a few more books and maybe I'll change my mind.
Darn, then I will probably wait too. . . There are so many books to read anyway.

I went into Covet expecting to hate it because I heard so many negative things about it and I ended up really liking it. Anyway, I'm currently reading
and I'm only about 30 pages into it but I am really liking the brothers in it so far.
Tara, did you like it right away or did it take awhile for you to like it? I like her other books pretty much from the start.
Hmm, I didn't like Dark Lover at the beginning it took a bit to get into it for me. And with Covet, it took a little less time, maybe 50 or 80 pages to really get going, and it went pretty fast because I kept waiting to just be so annoyed that I had to put it down and that didn't happen. I was 200 pages into when I realized that not only did I not hate it, I was enjoying it. It depends on your taste in books. I equally love PNR and UF so, this was definitely much more UF.

Reading Kushiel's Dart - Jacqueline Carey. Took me a several chapters to get into it but I like it. The writing is different for me. I have the next couple in the series to go I am hoping they get easier to read.

It took me a while to finish it too. And for some reason, the brother's relationship seemed just a little ... weird ... to me.

I thought it was cute too. My friend loved the whole series.
Lynsay Sands is very good for a laugh. I've only disliked one so far.
Lynsay Sands is great Cherra!! I agree Michelle M. there was only one that I thought was just ok.

Phedre is one of my favorite characters of all time.

I highly recommend it Rebecca!! I think you will like it!! Oh that's too bad to hear you aren't liking the Night Huntress series!:( That's also one of my fav's. I have to say after the first book I wasn't sure but once I read the second I couldn't stop and now i'm totally hooked! How many of them have you read?

Wow that's such an interesting change Rebecca! The 3rd and 4th of night huntress were my absolute fav's... but you know to each their own!:) I know tons of people absolutely rave about the Cassie Palmer series and I think it's just ok.... it's great to hear such differing opinions tho!:) Well I think you should give Riley Jensen a shot, I think you will really like the series, I just love her and her twin brother! I seriously want to be Riley LOL, LOL best of both worlds in my opinion!:) Happy reading and let us know what you think of it!!:)

Seriously though I hope to share the same love for Riley! I'm looking for a new series to be obsessed with. I'll let you know!

I LOVED all of the Night Huntress books! I though the Cassie Palmer series was ok, worth reading but not "OMG I can't put it down". I secretly want to be Riley too!! Vamps and Werewolves - Yea!

Haven't been able to get into a new book in the last few days and the library is being especially slow. Started
last night. Really fun so far. And my Barnes and Noble order finally arrived, so I will probably start

I am reading City of Glass aka the latest in The Mortal Instruments series. I am also reading The Scarlet Letter for school. Both are excellent *in almost opposite ways (;*
