Heather B (heatherbenson) I just finished the last book in the Mortal Insturments series, City of Glass, I loved it! I think that it was my favourite in the series, but now I'm kind of sad that it's over it was a really good series.
Now I think that I'm going to reread the Twilight books before the movie comes out.

message 3954: by Tina (new)

Tina | 130 comments Heather - that is a fantastic series. I'm listening to it on audio. I'm almost finished with City of Glass. I've read the whole series a few months ago. Simon is having his own spin off coming out in a year or two.

I agree. Something about Shiver is just sticking with me. It may be the writing so lyrical almost haunting.

I am always looking for good stories to read. I will put that one one my list.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) (ibookienookie) I am almost done with Tasting Fear by Shannon McKenna although this is not a PNR or UF, it is an awesome romance/thriller-ish/mystery. It is about 3 adopted sisters who's mother was murdered and now the killer is after them and of course the mystery behind why they are being stalked. it is like 3 mini books in one--one for each sister.

Gems (zadien) | 134 comments I've given up reading this month to do Nanowrimo - there's a very good chance that I'll swap back though...:(

Read A Hunger Like No Other last week - it was good, and refreshing. Yay.

Tabitha (Bows & Bullets Reviews) (piratevanrock) I am currently reading Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. I'm about halfway through and it's good so far. I didn't particularly want to read it, but my fiance adores, so I decided to give it a shot.

I'm glad you liked it Shannon! I'm 60 pages or so into it and have laughed some. This book kinda reminds me of the Queen Betsy series by MaryJanice Davidson. I think I have found a new series I will have to follow.

well, i am about 120 pages into it and well, one thing i can say is that it's not lacking for sex scenes-f/f, m/m, group, menage you name it Parks brought it. i mean geez I like a good story line too. the verdict is still out. but i knew it would be more on the paranormal-erotica as opposed to romance.

I agree, it's actually my fave of Mead's series.

And to do the book image, go to "add book/author", search for your book, then at the bottom, choose either link for just a clickable link or cover for a clickable bookcover image.

Hi Laura, thanks for the help. I'm really not trying to be slow, but I must be still missing something. I am not seeing anything that says clickable bookcover image. I tried to right click and can only seem to copy the image. I have issues.

Thank you again

message 3989: by Alycia (new)

Alycia You have to do the book search, when it comes up make sure the dot below is marked show bookcover, it will automatically be on the HTML link. I just figured this out yesterday.

message 3990: by new_user (new)

new_user | 1389 comments Andrea, when you're posting a message you should see a link called "add book/author" above the comment box. It's next to "(some html is ok)" and below "Email me when people comment." Click that, enter your book or author in the search box, and where it says "add:" select "cover" instead of "link."

Yes, even better than the Dark Swan series. While I do love me some Dorian, Dimitri's nothing to shake a stick at.

The deciding factor for me though is I like Rose more than I like Eugenie. Eugenie kinda bugs me--hopefully with the kicking of Kiyo to the curb that will rectify itself in the next book. :)

I love both the Dark Swan Series & the VA Series too. I also think that the VA is better because of Rose. But OMG, Dorian is super Hot! Demitri is wonderful but you gotta love a bad boy :)

Yes on my behalf! Love Vampire Academy. I think VA is what Twilight was supposed to be in Young Adult. Twilight was good, but VA oh so much better.

I think the 3rd book Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) was legendary. What a surprising change of events. Even though I sort of predicted it after reading the first in the series. I am so contradictory at times.
