What are you reading right now?
Just started reading Delectably British by Scarlett Avery after finishing her Bad Boy Seals...spicy barely scratches the surface. Whew. ;)
I'm binge reading author Cynthia Sax's Cyborg series. Cyborg Sizzle had 10 books. I'm on the spin off series Cyborg Space Exploration.
I finished
(4 stars) and
(5 stars). I enjoyed them very much. After reading
(4 stars), I decided to take a little break from my favorite genres UF and PR, and especially from the Paranormal Women's Fiction sagas. So, I followed Denise Nanna's recommendations and I'm reading Kelley Armstrong's Rockton Series. I finished
(4 stars) and currently I'm starting
.
I've been reading some guilty pleasures, an alien reverse harem series (3 or 4 aliens, 1 woman) They are sort of believable because the Ukkur live in groups of 3 to 4 men so it makes sense they would have 1 wife.
That’s great to hear you liked On the Edge. I’ve loved the Hidden Legacy and Kate Daniels series and there hasn’t been an Ilona Andrews book I haven’t liked but it seemed like their On the Edge series wasn’t as popular so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
@Lexie: If you read the Innkeeper series by Ilona Andrews, an adult George and Jack appear in it. In On the Edge George and Jack are kids / teenagers.
@demetraP I hadn’t even realized that! George and Jack were such great characters in Sweep in Peace. I’d already liked their characters in On the Edge but now that I know the background, it makes the the story even better.
I'm reading Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs. It's Alpha and Omega #6 with Charles and Anna. It's a spin off of her Mercy Thompson (the coyote walker) series.
I am on Book 2 of Grave Talker by Annie Anderson. The first book was refreshing. Book two isn’t too bad either. It starts 9 months after the first ended.
I am reading book 8 in the Kate Daniels series, Magic Shifts. Wonderful series love the characters and Kate is awesome. Every book is a new adventure!
Am I in the bottom 1% of paranormal romance readers that hasn't read Gena Showalter? Just started The Darkest Night audiobook from the Lords of the Underworld series.

I’m reading several things right now! Does anyone else do this? Currently reading: Haunted: Perron Manor by Lee Mountford, The Killer in Me by Margot Harrison, The Darkest Whisoer by Gena Showalter (audible), Working for the Devil by Lilith Saintcrow, and Last Rituals by Yrsa Siguardottir.

1. Read any book you want.
2. Don't read any book you don't want.
3. That's it.
4. Congratulations you did it!

I really like this list. It has all my favorite books on it!

OMG, it is awesome - I started "lover eternal" yesterday. the world would be a much better place if there were vampires today (IMHO)!!!!

You can't help but love Wrath and his brotherhood even Butch
I am currently reading
(sorry I listed the wrong one the first time) by Ilona Andrews, next I will be reading
by Laurann Dohner and after that I plan to read
by Milly Taiden.
I'm reading as series by L. Ann and
Midnight Touch is 1st book in series. Sadly book 5 is not due for release until October 2021. I really like the world of Shifters and Hunters.
I've just finished Bulletproof Damsel by Amelia Hutchins. Like every book she writes it was AMAZING! Big love for Rhys Van Helsing <3 If anyone has any book suggestions which are similar please let me know. The next book in the series hasn't been released yet **Cry**
I just finished Blood Heir by Ilona Andrews (loved it), the first Throne of Glass series book, Assassin’s Blade by Sarah Maas (I prefer urban fantasy to straight fantasy but the story and characters are interesting), Sinners on Sunset (Debra Dunbar’s Imp series is one of my all time favorites and this is a tangential series that is gritty, witty, and fun), and the Vow (I much prefer straight urban fantasy to paranormal romance and liked the Crossbreed series better than the Seven books by Dannika Dark. I frankly did not really enjoy this book and thought the plot and characters were pretty thin). I just started Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane and am loving it so far. It’s very gritty with a pill-addicted heroine and a post-apocalyptic vibe. A church has taken over society and government and tightly controls the use of magic and protects against ghosts. Chess works as a debunker/witch for the church but isn’t always a rule follower (plus I’m guessing the church frowns on drug use). I’m really excited to learn more about this world and how Chess will deal with the numerous problems in her life.
Otherwise I read Conditional Citizens by Laila Lalami, which was thoughtful and well written. And I’m reading the Committed by Viet Thanh Nguyen
Kingdom of Shadow and Light, just received the copy I won :)and
lover awakened, jr ward. not liking this one so far.
