is totally different to any of the other HRs I've read so far, and I'm really enjoying it.

I just binge read all 4 books in the Torpedo Ink series. Men raised as assassins since they were kids and horrifically abused form a motorcycle club. They have powers like the X-Men, some can control animals, or force people to tell the truth, etc. They meet their woman and are very in love and she is the only woman they want.

The books are a bit dark with all of the abuse and mentions of rape and the hero and heroine have to work through the hero's background and PTSD.

But they are so in love and will do anything for their woman.

Jowly Sue Burkhart’s Queen Takes King!

Finally getting into this after a micro-slump that lasted just a few days but covered a couple of different books. It is fantastic! It's set in Prague, it is about a dancer (yay! I'm always searching for more dance world stories), a Godsdancer and necromancers. The MMC is a bit of an alpha-hole but I'm not turned off it for a change...

I just finished Lynsay Sands Immortal Born. I bought the audio book on sale before I realized I'd already red it. It was still a good book, and since it had been a long time, it was almost like it was a new to me book. It was still good. I love her writing.

Things have been a bit slow for me because I've been binge watching TV and watching YT vids!

this is my most recent read, one I feel a bit conflicted about. At the end of the first chapter I almost DNF'd it (which is a rareity for me) because I hated the circumstances... but this is one of those books I picked up because of the unique premise; a western historical romance where the FMC wants a baby but not a husband. There's a lot to like, but I had so many frustrations with it.

Not sure what I'm going to pick up next, maybe this dance trilogy, or maybe I'll try a couple of the many non romance titles I've been putting off most of the year.

But because it's September, I'm really just counting down until my most anticipated new release for the whole year comes out on 13th October...
at which point I'll be starting the series from scratch and reading my beloved Wolfsong for the third time! to say that I'm beside myself waiting is putting it mildly lol!

I'm re-reading an old favorite. All That Bleeds. The hero is so in love with her.

I really liked this unusal vampire story, even if it was a tad confusing at times.

And to say that I loved this trilogy is putting it mildly. Makes me crave even more books set in the world of professional dance. Men who dance are hella sexy to me.
