I was thinking of picking up the Savior. My gosh, I wish there was a book club out there so I can read with people. I miss discussing books with people.

I've been reading for almost two months and I can't keep my mind on it. I don't know why, since Mercy Thompson has been one of my favorite series for a long time. Boring?

Of course, I've re-read 9 of my favorite books meanwhile. I can't be without a good story in my mind.

I just finished reading this series its a PRN and l love the world-building so far. The cast of characters are really diverse with Mages, witches, shifters, vamps, succumbs, fae and much more. I just finished reading the 2nd book it a great sequel can't wait for more of the series to come out.

My goal this year is to reread the entire Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, which I am a huge fan of. I first started reading this series over 20 years ago, so feeling a bit nostalgic. Just beginning book four , which I somehow remember as being one of my favorite of the series.

Finished Good Intentions - 4 star, I found it very enjoyable with interesting characters and premise. There are quite a few sex scenes, but nothing overly graphic. I think my favorite character was Rachel, I loved her sassiness

I'm currently reading After by Anna Todd.

I just completed by Mina Carter, the latest in her Warrior of Lathar series and by Florence Love Karsner which I surprisingly liked!

Fantastic book, five stars. A harrowing but very realistic portrayal of a depressed alcoholic hitting rock bottom.

I was soooo looking forward to this series as the premise is just up my alley and each ook just got worse rather than better. I've never read such misogynistic shite from a woman ever. I will be writing in-depth reviews for each of the three as soon as I can muster up the energy to revisit them.

Other than that, another very good book

Finished The Syn-En Solution - 4 star - Interesting characters and world creation, the story flowed well and the information on the world was filled in without detracting from the story

Also readLost: Saved By Love - 3 star - I didn't believe the reactions of the characters to the situation that was presented, there were numerous intimate encounters which were steamy and well written. (view spoiler)[ I would have believed that Derek was a buyer who had purchased Ren just from the his thoughts and reactions. There were also several times when it was written that Ren spoke English so fast that he had trouble understanding her, this is something I would expect from a non-native speaker since it was specified that she spoke English, not just spoke. (hide spoiler)] I just was not pulled into the story, to many points that I found to be unbelievable and knocked me out of the story.

Also read Fighting Destiny - I was a little leery near the beginning of the book that it was going to turn into a dominance / submission story, I am glad I stuck with it though and am looking forward to reading the next installment

Forbidden Forest - I enjoyed the characters and their interactions, I am curious on how the story will play out in the next book

I agree, The Savior was very bland, given the build up through several books ... I expected way more.

Watching Sin - Very hot, but the ending was a little off putting to me

The Last Banquet of Temporal Confections - Interesting premise and story style

Shattered Lands - Interesting story and characters you love to hate, don't know if I will read the other books in the series though

Damaged Dungeon - I am still reading this series, there is promise in the premise and I am interested in how it turns out

Shades of Fury - The story isn't bad and the MC is shaping up to be a strong character, but it just didn't pull me in enough to continue the series

His Kinky Kitten: The Halloween Honeys - Short, fun, hot read

Enshrined - If this series wasn't on KU I wouldn't continue it. Sometimes the story and characters are rather juvenile

Also read Play Time: Extra Credit - 2 star, glad it was short

Boost - 4 star, exciting adventures, weaving the threads of the previous books into the overall plot

I just finished the latest Innkeeper (romantic fantasy with vampires, magic, and trips to Costco to feed aliens) by Ilona Andrews.

It was amazing. Read the entire series, they all have "Sweep" in the title. Book 1 is Clean Sweep.
