Finished by Marina Finlayson - this was a nice surprise, quite enjoyed it and rated it 4 stars. Just started the 2nd book in the series

Finished Laid Bare - 3 star, the intimate scenes were very hot, but the overall story was a little lacking and sometimes left things unresolved. I see that this is a series of the Brown Family, but this one could be a stand alone

Also read Some Girls Bite - 4 star, I like the MC and the fact that she didn't seek to be a vampire and how she deals with the situation

Just finished Tower Lord by Anthony Ryan. Second book in Raven Shadows series. Was as good the first one, Blood Song. Going to start the third, Queen of Fire, tonight. Great serise. Hpoe to find others he has written.

I tried to read Ella Summers' at least 5 times before and I couldn't get past the first pages. I finally made it and I really liked it.
Also finished , , , and , after which I decided to take a little break because it was really exhausting.
Also read , a 4 stars nice story, and , it was ok.

Then, I read , , and . I enjoyed so much this series. I especially loved the characters: Tori and the 3 mages. I´ll be waiting for the next book.

And after the series I would really love some recommendations some suggestions and what other types of book I should read because I really am starting to love the series I love books like it so that will be great it's kind of like the wind series and this is The Unwanted Series so this is great I love the distopia I love the science fiction and the magic and it's mid-grade so that's 12 year olds oh well I liked it anyhow and I've read Harry Potter I only read the last book of it so I really like that and I like the acting the play one with its oh yeah the cursed child it was great really love the idea of how it all turned out anyways it was good and would love more books similar to that

I'm going to finish reading The Unwanted and The Unwanted Quest and then I don't know what other series to read I'm thinking about The Darkest Minds series and divergent series and the arc of a scythe trilogy I'm really thinking about the darkest mind series but I don't know if it's any good anybody else have any ideas or suggestions or can you give me information on the book of The Darkest Minds to tell me if it's any good to read cuz if it's boring than I don't want to read it and if it's slow and not action Packer actually interesting in any way then yeah don't like boring books and don't like really slow I like a book that's always flowing and always I mean the beginning might be slow but don't make it boring you know and like let it be like flowing like it's always it turns the page and there's always like action at the next chapter of it

This book just proves and highlights the idea of why we should all be allowed to have our own emotions and not be controlled by anyone else and called The Program, I so want to read it it sounds great and everything it's called the program so yeah that'll be one book I look for to actually read going to put it on my top to read list science fiction dystopia of the government shutting down human emotions or you will get reprogrammed hence the name of the book the name of the book is really called the program so you get the idea

Finished Kushiel's Dart - 4 star, quite an epic read (900+ pages) it was very engrossing with interesting characters and plot, even being long it kept the pace well and did not drag out scenes unnecessarily

Also read Blood Bound - I gave it 4 stars even though I found the ending disappointing and am undecided if I will continue the series. It has an interesting premise and the character interactions were at time convoluted. The change of perspective from Liv to Cam had a tendency to cause confusion for me since there was no indication whose perspective each chapter was until you were a few sentences into the chapters.

Well, my month so far has consisted of

I love this author but this wasn't "shifter" enough for me

this made me angry because the "hero" falls in love with someone years after he got behind the wheel of his car with his wife and child in it after drinking alcohol, when his wife had explicitly told him she didn't want him to drive. He ended up in an accident where his wife died. NO EXCUSES. The female lead does not offer him solace about his actions, so I suppose that was a plus point but I hate when this type of thing happens and the perp doesn't really get their dues. This was personal for me.



Also made me angry. Covering up a lifetime of abuse... Am going to write a review on this one as it was also personal for me, but I need to formulate my thoughts first.

I know why I tend to steer clear of those serial titles and this is proof why. It could have all been said in just one single book and that's why I didn't list them separately.





LOVED it. Well, would have it had been more than a mere tease of what could have been an awesome full length book!

sweet, frothy, ridiculous and HILARIOUS fun! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Currently reading . Omg! What a wonderful surprise! Characters are very strong in this and I love it. Even when it switches POV, everybody we meet feels fully fleshed out, realistic and relatable. I'm all about characters in books; you can tell me any story so long as the characters feel like human beings. And it's a compelling post-apocalyptic as well with an intriguing mystery that has me hooked. I did not expect to love this as much as I do.

Also reading . Very interesting. I like the entertaining premise and this author knows what she's doing with characters as well.

Finished Ashes, Ashes, They All Fall Dead - 3 star, The story was good, but I found the MC's irritating and distracting from the story line

Also read BladeDust Online - 2 star, the writing was very simplistic with short sentences with little sub-stance. It followed the adventures of the MC but the actions of other characters that were alluded to but not expanded on seemed to be the more interesting story

The Bookshop on the Corner - 4 star, I found this an amusing and endearing story. Very cute and happy, plan to read the next in the series

Bayou Born - 4 star, I was a little leery of the story at the beginning but it got better as it went along and it was difficult to put down during the last few chapters. Interesting to see how the next book goes
