I've been putting this read off for a long time. Book 3 is releasing soon so I figured now would be a great time to get started on the series. I'll read books 2 & 3 once I finish this one. So far I'm really enjoying it.

Bub, I gave it a 2 star, it was short but the story could have been fleshed out a little more, if asked, I couldn't really say what the book was about.Now reading

.I ended up DNFing A Dangerous Mourning at 58%. It was just too slow and boring. I may start Moon Called
as my next audiobook.

... I know it was released forever ago, but I came to this series late and I've been anticipating this one for quite awhile. I'm about 100 pages in and my heart aches for Ash so badly..... I'm walking around the house all sad for him....
A lot of people stopped reading after Acheron. It was a very dark book and some people (myself included) just didn't read further after it.

by Bec McMaster, really enjoyed it, rated it 4.5 stars. Looking forward to reading the next one in the series
Recently read this series and it was decent: 
Was really good, different but good. I haven't decided if I am going to read the whole series yet but I enjoyed this one.
I DNF'd this one at 55%. I just couldn't deal with this FMC.
Loved this novella from the Tainted Accords series. If you haven't read them they are pretty good. Lots of fighting and action!

I couldn't find my self reading the following books of the series and they have been for years in my "to read” shelf.

Iron and Magic was great! The authors did a great job of making me like Hugh, when I pretty much despised him before - 5 stars
Sleeping Beauties was boring and I thought it was a pointless story - 2 stars

I finished Magic Triumphs - I wanted to like it more than I did. I was honestly disappointed with some things and didn't find it to be a satisfying conclusion - a very generous 3.5 stars
Abandoned to the Night (The Brotherhood #3), by Adele Clee. I love her work!
I have been on a Bec McMaster binge. Read the final two books in the London Steampunk series and the first three installments of the Blue Blood Conspiracy series. All were 5 stars for me except for one at 4 stars. Charlie and Lark's book comes out in October. Can't wait!
I just started “Iron and Magic”!! I am excited to read this.....Just finished “Magic Triumphs”!! And I enjoyed it. It gave a good ending to a great series.

@Denise Nanna. I HATE Hugh with a passion, but understand that he gets a redemption in his book/intro to his series? I'm plowing straight on to book 7... I hope Curran does some serious ass kissing in this one. What he did to Kate in 6 was beyond brutal IMO, but I loved the book despite all that.

Ominous Island: A mystery with suspense and romance, 3 star - could have been a much different story if people would just talk to each other
Obsidian, 3 star - interesting take on dragons, huge cliffhanger at end
Good Intentions, 4 star - interesting characters and story
Reborn as a Dungeon Core, was generous and gave it a 3, will most likely read the next book in series
