I'm re-reading Magic Binds by Ilona Andrews. They jsut announced the last book will release august 2018.
Just finished this MM paranormal book. Fun.Different take on shifters and wizards.

I like those as well... but they're hard to find...
Just finished Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.
It's a retelling of Achilles' life from the pov of this life-long partner, Patroclus. And if you know your Iliad, you KNOW that is going to be heart wrenching. And man, it was.It's one of the only books I've read that is actually about LOVE and not lust or infatuation.
I hadn't cried so hard on a book since a while. Read it. Cry. Be happy. Love Greeks.

Re-reading Laurell K. Hamilton Anita Blake series, starting with Guilty Pleasures. Up to Bloody Bones so far . . . I love her characters, and it had been so long since I read them that I could be surprised.
I’m reading the ever romantic Christine Feehan’s Dark Secret for the fourth time. What can I say? Was really in the mood for some ‘De La Cruz’ Delight!!!
I used to love the Anita Blake series before the author decided having a love triangle was not enough and Anita needed to start sleeping with every guy she met.

I stopped reading the series when Anita had a lover strangle her. The later books have an audience, but for me, the earlier books are amazing. I started reading them when I picked up Burnt Offerings, and read it in one day. Then I went down to Another Change of Hobbit and got her back list. Started buying her in hard cover for a while.
I just finished
. It was a little strange, about a girl and a man-octupuss. I thought I wouldn't like it, but was curious because so many people are reading it. I couldn't put it down and I gave it 4 stars. I'll be waiting for the next book in the series.

Gummy Bears & Grenades.Just finished this one for a challenge. I loved it.
Part of the Thirds series. An awesome Shifter series. This one is on audiobook too. Really enjoyed the whole set.
This whole series is very well written. Even FM fans could enjoy it.
Worth a peek at the covers at least.

Picked up the first two books in the Road to Hell series by Brenda K. Davies - thank you Bunnycore for the earlier recommendation! Am currently reading the first book in the series,
, and am highly enjoying it so far.
I'm rereading Sam Crescent's Blind Devotion but I did just finish T.S. Joyce's For The Heart of the Warmaker and let me just say "WOW." I was absolutely AMAZING! If you love a good shifter series, I highly recommend hers!

If you love a good shifter series, ..."Jenni, I'm so glad someone has mentioned T. S. Joyce. I LOVE her books and have read all the Damons Mountains sub series. If you haven't read those, do but in chronological order or you will spoil the overarching story. There is definitely a set formula to every single one of them, but most of her characters and their various quirks make it work really well for me. I do tend to both laugh and cry every time I pick up one of her books, and have become quite fond of some shifter types (Bears and Gorillas) that I would never have without her stories. I love the fact that she has included many different types of animals in her world, especially the felines as the big cats are the top of my list.
Am saving up the Outlaw Shifters series until it's complete, as I do with most of the series that I read.
Her Wolves of Winter's Edge Trilogy I also read, which I felt was darker and more suspenseful than Damons Mountains. Overall I think T. S. Joyce is a highly recommended PR writer.
