Finished . What a great book! Lots of action; excellent fight scenes and fast-paced plot. Now all the Vampire Lords are set in stone and the epilogue promises the next book to be a real humdinger. I want to see the mates add their special kick-ass presence to the mix - especially Cyn. Can't wait.

Now on to . New novella from Ilona Andrews.

I also enjoyed both were really unique and different. Luckiest Girl Alive introduced me to a new and fascinating genre. Beauty of the Broken is the perfect title for what happens within the book. It was depressing but captivating.

I just completed and must admit to not being super impressed. For me it seem like this book was trying to be as magical and interesting and Beauty of the Broken and just failed miserably. It also didnt have any comma marks which i thought were strange, but didnt impact my reading all that much. It was surprisingly easy to read without them.

Finished . Have to say i wasn't overly impressed with this book. The main character drove me nuts with her terrible choices and attitude, i know i know, she had no control over some things (terrible excuse btw) but it didn't effect everything and she still made terrible decisions. The action scene at the end didn't make up for the rest of the book, i thought it was ridiculous how much she wanted to save her GF but spent ages killing all the trolls, ogres and giants and yet in that time the dragon hadnt carried her GF off? pfft please. he's a dragon.

I think this series gets better as it goes. The first book was a little slow and confusing in places for me, but I've really enjoyed the rest of the series.
