Also read . In general, I liked it, but I had some issues with some characters. Not the best BDB book. Still my favorites are Z,s, Quinn and Blay's, Rhage's, Wrath's and Butch's.

Yes. The movies are pretty good, especially Catching Fire. I wasn't sold on Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss in the first movie. She totally convinced me in the second. I'm really looking forward to Mockingjay, Part 2.

I was not so excited with the movies. After the first movie, I wait for video. I think the Divergent movies have been a much better adaptation of the books.

Finished and I really liked this one. Not so much about the Lessers, which always bores me. Good story lines and you can see some new ones coming up for the next book.

i enjoyed Divergent, but not this last one. i've also not read the books. and now that i've watched the movies i'm not sure i'll read the books.
i started City of Bones several months ago after i watched the movie and i just can't read the book. i liked the movie so much i have no desire to finish reading it. i'm going to try listening to it and that should help. cause i like knowing the real story.

I wasn't a huge fan of the best bit was a bit more Rhage. I am really hoping Lassiter gets a book soon after the reveal at the end of the fallen Angels series I am dying to hear his story.

I happen to have liked this book. There is a sad story, but I liked the way it ended.

I dont really have "expectations", I have "an idea" of what I think will happen, but I don't "expect" it to, not even after 12 books, & especially w/ J.R. Ward! She's crazy & doesn't really stick to the HEA plan like everyone else.

My problem wasn't so much the direction she took but the fact by this stage I just didn't care what happened any more. In the early books, Rhage and Zadist, I was ugly crying but in this I had lost all interest in the characters. With the story dragged out over multiple books and the ever changing POV I felt I wasn't given a chance to connect with the characters. I am not sure if I will even read the next one, it would need to be Lassiter's book for me to even care. It is such a shame as I loved these books.

It's very hard to put into words. I love Wards writing style and the book was great, I was just left hating the ending which has soured the whole series for me. They were the books I read when I wanted to get lost in a different world and now that's been lost.
