I love Nalini Singh, but I'm several books behind in the Guild Hunter series. I guess that's kind of a good thing because now I have three books to binge read at once.

I found the first book in that series to be too confusing with all the time travel and other things. It took me two or three years to finally read the second book, which fortunately made a lot more sense to me. I've really come to enjoy this series.

Finished which I have to say was kind of meh for me. There were a few great scenes, but then a few that made little sense to me. I guess I just wasn't feeling it right now. So before Opposition, I'm going to take a break and read . It's been a year since I read the first one, but I'm hoping I remember enough to not feel lost.

I'm doing a re-read of that series. I read them ages ago, also. I hate to say, they were better back when. The newer books, have 2 narrators, I'm looking forward to those. I'm also doing a re-read of BDB on audio.

I just started reading the "I am number four" series. I am about half way into the book and it's okay. I saw the movie when it first came out and was disgusted by it. My friend has been reading the series and talked me into trying it out so I am. So far it has me hooked but I just hope it stays that way til the end. The main character is John Smith and he is 15. He is coming into his legacies (or powers) and on the run from another alien race along with his powerless guardian, Henri. I like Henri a tad bit more mainly because of the age. John acts a little spoiled some times but then again, he is a 15-year-old boy who is "in love." I should be done this week and I will see if I continue with the series.

Those are all such good series! But the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series on audio is a phenomenal experience. I just finished last week and it was so good. I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.
