Great series Anika. Glad you are liking it! If I remember, The Mating does not continue the story from Bonded. Their story continues somewhat in Betrayed. You get new characters in the next series of books, which I'm sure you will enjoy!

I agree, i mainly dislike the movie because it's not really like the book. It really rushes too. Also, i hate that some of the characters positions changes.

That's exactly how I feel. I felt like if you hadn't read the books the movie wouldn't have made a lot of sense. It's a shame too because I always thought that the series would make a good movie or tv series.

Belkis (bminaya) | 861 comments Okay finished If Forever Comes (Take This Regret, #2) by A.L. Jackson and of course I LOVED IT LOL! I love this story, this author's writing, and the characters in the story so much. Then I also finished Sterling (Mageri, #1) by Dannika Dark and really enjoyed it a lot. Then Third Grave Dead Ahead (Charley Davidson, #3) by Darynda Jones and it was another great one for this hilarious series. Will be reading the next one really soon for sure. Then I jumped into Seraphina (Seraphina, #1) by Rachel Hartman and sadly this one was a total disappointment for me. Super slow and too many boring info sections. Very hard one for me to get through. And to think I looked forward to this book for so long and then when I finally got to it, total bust! Argh! Hate when that happens. But then I read Close Obsession (The Krinar Chronicles, #2) by Anna Zaires and it was so good!! Yay! Made up for the previous disappointing read thank goodness. Will be reading book three to the Krinar Chronicles very soon :D

Currently reading Dark Light (Dark Light, #1) by S.L. Jennings and enjoying it very much. Next up for me The Apollo Academy (Apollo Academy, #1) by Kimberly P. Chase The Mighty Storm (The Storm, #1) by Samantha Towle The Siren (The Original Sinners, #1) by Tiffany Reisz Gio (5th Street, #2) by Elizabeth Reyes Beyond Shame (Beyond, #1) by Kit Rocha Close Remembrance (The Krinar Chronicles, #3) by Anna Zaires Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet (Charley Davidson, #4) by Darynda Jones Hopefully I can stick to them before jumping into these highly anticipated releases Endless Knight (The Arcana Chronicles, #2) by Kresley Cole The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth Time After Time (Time Between Us, #2) by Tamara Ireland Stone October is going to be SPECTACULAR!!

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) started Horns by Joe Hill it has a really interesting concept that I was into but otherwise the book was just meh. I didn't particular feel like reading the rest of the book so I put it down.
now reading The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines, #3) by Richelle Mead which is much better!!

message 31636: by LilMisGrayBrisk (new)

LilMisGrayBrisk | 502 comments Unfortunately, I am still reading Chasing Magic (Downside Ghosts, #5) by Stacia Kane . I don't really care for the plot, so it's been slow reading. Chess is also getting a bit out of control, IMO. I've always had a hard time with her drug use & I find it especially bad in this book.

message 31648: by Jen (new)

Jen | 1 comments I just finished the first book of the Rylee Adamson series by Shannon Mayer. It was a quick, fast-paced read, available to loan for free if you have Amazon Prime.

Rylee is a "tracker" who looks for missing children, usually victims of paranormal activity. She's a strong, easily relatable character with quirky paranormal sidekicks and friends. Mayer does a fantastic job of creating a fantasy world I am ready to read more about in the next book.
