Angela (the whimsical owl) (whimsicalowlblog) | 1 comments Just finished the Elemental Enmity series by Christie Rich . I really liked it - it was a new approach on the faerie world. Now I'm trying to decide between Darkhouse (Experiment in Terror, #1) by Karina Halle & The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay .

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I just finished Novella 9.5 from Wild Invitation (Psy-Changeling 0.5, 3.5, 9.5, 10.5) by Nalini Singh ... it was called Declaration of Courting for anybody that's keeping count. I didn't like it.... Grace was too weak and Cooper too strong...they were both overkill in opposite directions and felt like an abusive relationship in the making.

But it means that I can now finally move on to Hawke's book! Kiss of Snow (Psy-Changeling, #10) by Nalini Singh

Belkis (bminaya) | 861 comments Okay finished reading Eyes Wide Open (The Blackstone Affair, #3) by Raine Miller which I enjoyed but the ending left me a bit dissatisfied. I hear rumors of a 4th book *sigh* what's with the endless need to drag out a freaking story. Then read Anathema (Causal Enchantment, #1) by K.A. Tucker which was very good so looking forward to the next one for this series. Then Reached (Matched, #3) by Ally Condie which I truly liked a lot. Perfect ending to this trilogy. Then Lips Touch Three Times by Laini Taylor which was beautiful. Then One Perfect Night by Bella Andre which was meh. Instalust going on and a short read so not great. Had to read it for a group challenge. Then Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand which I really liked a lot. Looking forward to book 2 very soon. Then The Warlock King (The Kings #3) by Heather Killough-Walden which was very good in Heather Killough-Walden fashion. Love her writing and imagination. Now starting Wildflower (Wildflower, #1) by Amy Maurer Jones hope it's good been wanting to read this one for a long time now.

I love how KMM weaves a mystical, magical world of Druids, Scots Lairds, the distant past so beautifully that one feels the cool breezes, smells the heather, feels the power of these lovely worlds she builds. The characters are so raw and complete for me. Can't wait until I enter the world of The Dark Highlander by Karen Marie Moning

message 30443: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I finished and LOVED Kiss of Snow (Psy-Changeling, #10) by Nalini Singh !! There is just so much going on in this book and I loved every minute of it! Obviously I loved Hawke and his possessiveness was fun. But I also adored Kit in this one and it's the first book that I really see him as a future Alpha the way he was playing with Hawke reminded me so much of Lucas. I hope he eventually gets his own book.... but I don't want to lose Lucas....

I also caught up on the shorts on Singh's website. All except Star Crossed because I didn't recognize the characters.....

No I'm ready to finish up Wild Invitation (Psy-Changeling 0.5, 3.5, 9.5, 10.5) by Nalini Singh with Texture of Intimacy.

Yes they do! Maybe when Kit is older, another pack will lose their alpha and be in desperate need and Kit can take over and be allied with DarkRiver.... a girl can dream can't she?

message 30448: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I finished up Wild Invitation (Psy-Changeling 0.5, 3.5, 9.5, 10.5) by Nalini Singh finally it seemed like I was reading it forever since I was trying to keep the short stories in order of the series. Loved the first two stories.... the second two not so much. I hope we can see more of Zach in the future:)

I'm going to bed now as it's already the wee hours of the morning.... but then I will start Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling, #11) by Nalini Singh . I'm actually really excited to read Riaz's story.... but when I first skimmed the synopsis I thought that Adria was going to be the girl he thought was his mate, but now I re-read it and saw the part of it I missed that said he was already sworn to another. Oh well hopefully it will still be good:)

Oh yes! It's quite a brilliant idea you have over there. Why didn't I ever think of that? Okay. Let's start hoping and dreaming now. :)
Actually, I've got one pair that I really would like to see them together but I am obviously thinking wayyy too far. I am hoping for (view spoiler). See. Wayyy too far. I know. But like you say, a girl can dream. ;)
