How's Insurgent? Read Divergent last year but was afraid to read Insurgent because the last book still hasn't come out. I don't think I can handle another cliffhanger right now. But I am terribly eager to get my hands on it. UGH! :)

Well, not sure I was in the mood for it but started as a BR and it's very gripping! like Divergent was.

I'm only at 30% but I have a feeling there will be a cliffy ending..

I'm going to start reading Chosen at Nightfall (Shadow Falls, #5) by C.C. Hunter next. I just hope I remember all that lead up to this book. Yikes! I might get lost! Oh well, I'll give it a go :)

Nina (msralways) | 528 comments Just read Wicked Ties (Wicked Lovers, #1) by Shayla Black . Good enough story, but all that BDSM stuff is not really my thing. For those of you who like the BDSM scene, give it a try. :) Started Divided in Death (In Death, #18) by J.D. Robb . Missed Eve and Roarke and the gang.

message 30359: by Rebekah (new)

Rebekah Daniels (rebekahdaniels) | 13 comments Just finished Hunger Games. I thought it was a little over-rated. It wasn't bad, just not worth all the hype.

Now I am reading "Just One Sip". It is a book containing three short romance stories involving vampires. I've finished the first story, and thought it was okay, nothing to jump out of my seat over. We'll see how the other two hold up.

message 30360: by Christy (new)

Christy (christy_kennedy) | 184 comments I had to put Seduced by Blood (Sweetblood, #4) by Laurie London down due to the fact that I just could not connect to the characters and the story just did not resonate with me. Too bad. I may come back to it at a later date and try again. In the meantime, I know I am many years late to the party with this series, but I am currently on a journey with KMM's Highlanders. Reading The Highlander's Touch (Highlander, #3) by Karen Marie Moning and yes I know it is not Book 1, but I'm wondering if these are stand-alones within the series. If anyone knows, please let me know. :)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments Ok I finished Bonds of Justice (Psy-Changeling, #8) by Nalini Singh ..... I really just couldn't connect to this romance. I just didn't "get" it! I liked Max....but I could care less about Sophia. And this repeated situation with her wanting to go all the way with him and he stopping her got annoying.... yes you're being a gentleman, I get it....but it doesn't make for exciting reading and I found myself so incredibly bored and I was worried I was going to fall asleep!

Then I read the Novella Whisper of Sin... since it was installment 8.5, I had no idea it chronologically went after Slave to Sensation....but I really enjoyed it. Loved Emmett!

Now I'm taking a quick break to read a Donna Grant novella Night's Awakening (Dark Kings, #2) by Donna Grant (I should finish it sometime today), before I tackle Play of Passion (Psy-Changeling, #9) by Nalini Singh

message 30366: by Shuling (new)

Shuling I am only 14% through Branded by Fire (Psy-Changeling, #6) by Nalini Singh and I just know that I am going to end up loving it. You gotta love Ms Singh. Just finished Wolf Signs (Granite Lake Wolves, #1) by Vivian Arend . It was okay, but just maybe not for me.

message 30372: by Pat aka Tygyr (new)

Pat aka Tygyr (tygyr) | 69 comments I'm reading The Strain (The Strain Trilogy, #1) by Guillermo del Toro and have realized this is not a good book to be reading when I have 4 plane trips coming up!
Also reading Stygian's Honor (Breeds, #27) by Lora Leigh
On my Kindle I will start Jabril (Vampires in America, #2) by D.B. Reynolds and get in on the book read going on.
On my lap top I am reading Until Darkness Comes by Melynda Price
They are all page turners, so it is always a tough decision as to which book to continue when I have time. Today is a shopping day, so I have even less time to devote to my favorite pastime of reading.

I thought they were two separate stand alone books. I read Nobody by Jennifer Lynn Barnes when it came out earlier this year, but I haven't gotten around to Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes yet. I also really like her Raised by Wolves series.

message 30379: by Christine (new)

Stygian's Honor was my least favorite Breeds. I thought the book went round and round in circles. It felt like they were all saying the same things over and over. By the end the plot advanced about as far as walking on a treadmill. I felt like I was in the same place by the end.

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer (michmag) I agree Alana. This Girl was an amazing read....I may have even liked it a smidge more than Slammed.

message 30390: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I finished Night's Awakening (Dark Kings, #2) by Donna Grant ...it was a bit repetitive of book one, but still good.

and Play of Passion (Psy-Changeling, #9) by Nalini Singh which I of course loved! I want a Drew of my own!! A perfect mix of arrogance, sweetheart, and sex machine.... what can I say the boy can play! Two scenes to play in your mind.... bathtub..... restaurant.

I also read the short story Wolf School which was cute.

Next up I'm back to Wild Invitation (Psy-Changeling 0.5, 3.5, 9.5, 10.5) by Nalini Singh to grab novella 9.5.... haven't looked up the name yet...
