What are you reading right now?

Nothing seems to hit my fancies, sigh...that doesn't mean I have some great books in the wings, just couldn't get myself out of the funk.

I've been waiting for this book for a year! a year!!!!!
and now, I can't read it because I feel I have to r..."
oh great, thanks. I may re-read the last 2 chapters..

LOVE KA!! There's a KA group on Goodreads, you should join if you haven't already. I read anything KA but the unfinished heroes is my least fave series of all hers.

I was in awe and kept going back think wow, this is PNR at its best. The characters, the plots, the setting...out this world!

Winterblaze was absolutely fantastic. Loved Winston Lane.
I just finished Clockwork Princess and it was awesome as well. I just didn't know how the whole love triangle thing was going to be resolved without heartache but it worked for me, even if I needed a box of tissues to get through the epilogue.

LOVE KA!! There's a KA group on Goodread..."
Thanks Allison, I'll go join it now. I started with Rock chick, then the Dream Man series & now this series. I went to pre order Own The Wind (Chaos 1) but it hasn't been allowed to be downloaded in Australia so I have to wait & hope it eventually lets me download it

Bones = Yummy Hotness!

Have you read any of these:

Have you read any of..."
thank you so much for the suggestions and no offense and all i forgot to mention i like books from 2010 and up and i would really love if you suggested something less dark! like if you could see my books that ive read you can get an idea
thank you so much

Ha..."
No offense taken. Your profile is set to private so I can't see the other books you're read. But Molly Harper is definitely on the humorous side and not dark. Out of curiosity, why only books after 2010? I think most of my favorite series started before then.

Okay, so have you read some of the great ones on this thread? Like:
The Night Huntress, Darkest London, The Immortals After Dark, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, The Demonica, Lords of Deliverance, Downside Ghosts, Dark Hunter, The League, Kate Daniels, Mercy Thompson, The Edge, The Lux, Existence, The Grey Wolves, Midnight Breeds, The Infernal Devices, Shifters Unbound, Timber Wolves, War of The Fae, Fever, The Elemental Mysteries, Daughters of the Sea, Immortal Guardians, Just Breathe series, The Bellum Sisters, The Iron Fey, The Iron Druid Chronicles, Charley Davidson, Lumatere Chronicles, The Road To Hell, Setenid Blight, Eternal Guardians, Chicagoland Vampires, Revenants, The Darkwoods, The Violet Eden Chapters, Zero Sight, Guild Hunter, Psy-Changeling, Healer, Blood Moon Rising, The Pulse, Daughters Of Saraqael, Chronicles of the Warlands, Deep In Your Veins, The Phoenix Pack, Telesa, Fire Spirits, Warriors of Ankh, Destiny's Fire, Grasping at Eternity, Hyde, Breathing Fire, Almost Human series by Melanie Nowak, Degrees of Wrong, Of Blood and Bones, The Portal Trilogy, Lords of the Underworld, Darkness Falls, What Kills Me, The Tale of Lunarmorte, The Darkest Minds, Bitter Black Kiss, Forever Girl, Dragon Wings - The Amethyst Dragon 1, Lost Immortals trilogy, Whispers In Autumn, Girl Under Glass, Lila Trilogy, River of Time, The Diviners, Children of Nox, Shifting Dreams, Blood Feud series, Kiss Of Fire, Nightwalkers, The 19th Year, The Dark Heroine, The New Haven Project, Unearthly trilogy, Dark Waltz, The Chosen Soul, Poison Princess,
Sorry, so many good ones LOL! I've either read them or have them purchased and scheduled to read in the upcoming months. If there's anything from the list that you want or need more details on, just let me know. Hope it helped a little at least to give some options to look into :) Oh, and only listed PNR ones. There are so many great dystopians and post-apocolyptic ones but didn't list any of those since you said PNR.

Okay, so have you re..."
The Lux, Existence, Kate Daniels, The Iron Fey thats all ive read from the list you've given but ill check all of em out
thank you so much i really appreciate it since i dont have many books left to read cause im finishing the ones i marked and im harldy finding anything 2010 and up but ill look at all the books youve suggested
thank you
and oh i do read dystopians and post-apocalyptic but the only ones ive read are Hunger Games Trilogy and Matched
im thinking of picking up Divergent but still conflicted

Actually I can't recommend it highly enough. It's the beginning of a new series, but the next installment is a year away :("
Loved this, long wait for the next one though

Okay,..."
OH YES!!! Definitely read Divergent it's my absolute favorite dystopian LOL! Read

I also really enjoyed these if you want to check them out:

Most recently I read

Hope these help out too. I'll let you know if I come across anything I think you might enjoy. Oh Oh, I also Loved

Yeah, it's not action driven, this one's more about Perry.. I liked it, but because Perry's very close to me!
I think it's one of those series that grow on you and where the relationship builds as you go along

I second

Staying in the YA genre I would also recommend

Not being certain where your tolerance for sex and gore might be (love Kate Daniels, but even that first book has a monster who rapes women and animals and threatens to rape Kate repeatedly - that's pretty dark stuff), so I'll give my go-to recs:
For romance-lite I love Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels series) and Patricia Briggs (Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega series). For heavier romance I go Nalini Singh (Psy-Changeling and Guild Hunter series), Larissa Ione (Demonica series), Shelly Laurenston (especially if I want something more on the funny side), and Thea Harrison (same). Kim Harrison's The Hollows series I feel falls somewhere between the two as far as romance levels go.
New series that I've really liked are

@ Pianolover - so happy that you have so many great recommendations to look through. Hope you find some that you like :)

It was good. My only complaint was that I figured out who did it very early on. I enjoyed the backstory a lot though.

The Hathaways is one of my favorite series ever.

I didn't fall in love with Knight either, but prepare yourself for all the yumminess that is Creed. ;)

I wish they'd sort it out and they'd cut out a lot of illegal downloading.

I KNOW!! it's freaking insane!!! Even the 5th Charlie Davidson is the same & another book I wanted to pre order. What pisses me off is that I have downloaded all the other book's of the same author's so you'd think they'd let you download the next in a series. This started with BDB, they wouldn't allow it & now Amazon keep "recommending" I download BDB. The same happened with The Guild Hunter but eventually that series became available

Love Halfway to the Grave! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Bones... *dreamy sigh* ;D

i have that book in my kindle but i didnt think of reading it im still reading

Yes. Yes. Yes. Bones all the way!
