Yes definitely shifters. I loved the prequel and couldn't wait for book 1 to this new series by Elisabeth Hunter to come out. I still have to read it though. Unbelievably I've had so many others that were in line to be read these past two weeks that I still haven't been able to get to it but will this next week coming up. How did you like it? Is it as awesome as I think? Going by the prequel and how great her writing is I bet it's fantastic.

I loved Darkhouse. It's absolutely great and I can't wait to read on in this series. Halle is a great writer, but The Devil's Metal is what really won me over when it came to her writing.

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I just finished Night Forbidden (Envy Chronicles, #5) by Joss Ware ...I didn't like it as much as some of the other books in the series. I really didn't like the lead male in the book that much and his corny sexual innuendos got old pretty quick.

Now I'm reading Night Resurrected (Envy Chronicles, #6) by Joss Ware .....but I just read somewhere that it's the last book in the series so I'm a little sad. And with the story Arch that's been going on I'm not sure how she's going to tie it all up in this installment, but we shall see.

Florence Witkop I felt somewhat the same way about The Hunger Games. It hooked me completely but, after I was done, I had to come down from it emotionally in order to be able to look at it objectively and get past the awful parts. And then... and only then... did I realize that it's a very well written series and probably not the kind of thing I usually like because, like you, I read for relaxation and entertainment, not to be scared or eviscerated.

I have that one in my To Be Read pile and I'm really looking forward to it.

Tonight I hope to squeeze in a little time to read one of the novellas in Wild Invitation (Psy-Changeling 0.5, 3.5, 9.5, 10.5) by Nalini Singh I read Tamsin & Nate, and Annie & Zach's stories in other collections. But I'm looking forward to learning more about Walker and Lara. For those who have read Wild Invitation, which of the short stories did you most enjoy? Was Grace's story good?

When I grow up I want to write like Nalini Singh. Truth.

Got 5 books to read that belong to series I've started (well in my top-top list..). It seems like a waste of time to re-read at the moment. But you're right, it'd be a shame to miss-out on the plot..

Nina (msralways) | 528 comments Finally got the courage to get back to the New Species with Brawn (New Species, #5) by Laurann Dohner . Pretty good so far. I love Becca. :)

Ninab (Honesty is the Best Policy) | 137 comments Finished Move Me by Emma Holly - 3 stars. The romance was front and center in this one, which perhaps I wasn't in such a mood for having recently finished and been blown away by Hidden Crimes (Hidden Series, #3) by Emma Holly where the romance (which was stellar) was so effortessly woven into a larger story. Still, the author's strong voice was present, and the story had line that struck me as really sweet:

You are the shining star that reigns over my yearning heart.

I've picked up the other books in this series that deal with the police force as in Hidden Crimes, so we will see if I am equally blown away by those.
