@Lala I'm certainly devouring it! I read the sixth book between yesterday night and most of today. Already started the seventh and can't wait to dig in. But it is Christmas Eve today and I think even Eve and Roarke deserve a break. :)

I've read Echo in the Bone and I agree; it has a cliff hanger, but not nearly as bad as I had heard.

Ok finished reading and loved it. Then read and total disappointment. Really boring book. Just sort of droned on. Completely flat, never any excitement. I kept waiting for some something interesting to happen and never did. It was like reading mapquest directions or instructions on how to make glue! And oh my gawd, such boring flat unlikeable main characters, argh! Then read which was enjoyable and sets up nicely for the first book of the series so looking forward to it. Now reading and really enjoying so far :)

Absolutely agreed. And The Iron Druid series is yet another great and highly recommended series that I have waiting on my TBR pile to be read as well as Downside Ghosts, Vampires In America, The Road To Hell, Kate Daniels, Lords of the Underworld, Charley Davidson, Mercedes Thompson, and Rhiannon's Law! I'm so freaking behind LOL!

Reading and I'm having mixed feelings. The writing is great but this is a pretty dark book and I expected SOME form of humor in a YA book. If I can't have humor give me sex! I say scrap the YA theme and write this puppy for adults...she wouldn't need to change a whole lot honestly. It definitely borders on an adult book.

It's my first ebook and I'm excited about it, but it's nowhere near as good as Perfect Chemistry which I was expecting it to be like. Started right after I finished Unearthly and I like it so far.

Hi Judi-I thought this was an adventurous combination between the 'Twilight' series and 'Harry Potter' series, but I only read the first three books because 'The Mortal Instruments' was originally a Trilogy and I get squeamish when authors try to force something they never intended on. If you go further, let us know what you think.

The movie of the first book come out August 2013.

Another good book you may enjoy is 'The Host' by Stehanie Meyer...It's a great book, but as usual with Stephanie Meyter's stories it starts out REALLY SLOW for WAY TOO LONG--but that movie will come out March 29, 2013.

I hope you enjoy the read.
