Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments Finished Secret Sins (The Callahan's, #3) by Lora Leigh ...I liked it, but I liked Logan's book better! This one really reminded me of the first Breeds novel...you know when the lead characters were in heat! I didn't like that book at all at least this one does still have a storyline.....but I was disappointed with Asher's character...it wasn't what I was expecting at all.

Now I'm getting ready to start Midnight's Warrior (Dark Warriors, #4) by Donna Grant ...sleep or reading I can't decide.

That's what I was going to say, I was so lucky I read the Fever series when all 5 were already out!!!
Now I have to wait for a year for the sequel of Iced to come out!
That's what I wanted to do: keep Chasing Magic for before the next one comes out..but it's going to be difficult!

I just finished

Blood Red Road (Dust Lands, #1) by Moira Young I stayed up all night to read it. I really loved it
Now same problem!! the sequel is out but the last of the trilogy will be out in 2014!
Also, the reviews are mixed when it comes to the sequel and I loved it so much I don't want to be disapointed..
It's my fault, sometimes, it's best not to read anything about a book and just go for it and make your own mind..

Clare dooley (claredooley) | 62 comments I'm totally freaking out! can nothing be a stand alone book anymore? I'm reading literally 7 different series that ALL ended on cliff-hangers & the next books aren't coming out till like 2015,(well some 2013) but not like in Jan.! I could be dead by then! Some of the author's are older also, I have this total paranoia that they will die & just never finish:( I'm tempted to read Janet Evanovich just cause there's 18 of them? Anybody have a suggestion of either a completed series or a stand alone book? My apologies if you check out my tbr list, a lot of them have been read but not updated, so ANY suggestions are welcome!!

The Fever Series 5-Book Bundle Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever, Dreamfever, Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning

The Force of Wind (Elemental Mysteries #3) by Elizabeth Hunter

those are the ones that comes to my mind so far.. they're finished!

message 27563: by Shuling (new)

Shuling Estelle
Wow! Totally! I always have a habit of reading reviews first before starting any books. And sometimes, it sucks! Like, I had been so sure I am going to like this book but the reviews are all against it and starting to make my confidence wavers. AHHH! Anyway, am reading Friday Night Bites (Chicagoland Vampires, #2) by Chloe Neill . Enjoying all those hilarious banters. (:

Maybe that is why I haven't started Iced yet! My subconscious is trying to help me out! I am going to add Blood Red Road to my TBR, which is massive, so I prob won't get to it until 2014!

Clare dooley (claredooley) | 62 comments I can't not finish, it's literally like a sickness l.o.l. & bewoe the poor soul ( usually my fiancé ) who has to hear my litany of criticism or absolute fury as I read or finish a book I deemed unsatisfactory. I can't filter it. It's really frustrating to try to commiserate with someone who hasn't gotten as far or isn't even reading what I'm talking about? I love my kindle cause my itchy trigger finger can just download the next book immediately (to the banks woe & amazon's glee) but its insane the fury I feel when the next book in the series isn't available yet. Technology is grand but I didn't use to be so impatient about it. It takes "instant gratification " to a whole new degree, I'm not certain it's a healthy one for me;)

Anderson more than half way thru and it's just okay. It has too many various authors with very short stories for me to branch out and try one of them so far.

I was just thinking that for 2013, I'm waiting for Downside #6, Mercy #7, Night huntress #7, Fever #7, Guild Hunter #6... you're right! they never end!!

:-)

Clare dooley (claredooley) | 62 comments I started 2 books, first "unholy ghosts" which is really fun so far, & at 8:00a.m. Who needs sleep anyway?

message 27580: by Clare (new)

Clare dooley (claredooley) | 62 comments Right!! It's like complete madness!! I can't honestly remember just finishing a book & not thinking... There has to be more, no way... No effin way. I think the last one was "Tigana". Even that has other stories that loosely mention the other's in it. ( which to me makes them a set). There's just no getting around it. T.v. Does the same thing, a lot of shows if you miss one episode you're lost, I prefer to just stream it all when its complete. Less aggravating:)

I'll start Archon (The Books of Raziel, #1) by Sabrina Benulis tomorrow. I'm a little hesitant to read it, but I got it free in the mail...it just randomly showed up...the publisher sometimes sends me random stuff I didn't ask for.
